Lorelei smiled nervously. Although she was beginning to loosen up and get more comfortable, there was a thought that crept into her mind. Why did he react better to the lace than to just her? Was she not pretty enough without the lace? Did he think she was prettier with it? What if the lace was like a pretty bow? What if she was too plain without it?
