Celeste watched her family lovingly.

Eventually, Liz wore herself out and sage scooped her up, her head lolling against his chest as he carried her up to her room

Cleeste smiled. Eventually the babies got tired too, so she put them down for a nap.

|
Sage saw Celeste gathering them for a nap and helped with that before pecking her lips quickly and pretty much just charging excitedly into the woods on all fours like a dog might

Celeste giggled watching him go. "Be back before supper!!" She called out, knowing he'd hear her. "Love you!!"

|

|
Sage let out a sort of yip noise to let her know he heard her as he barreled across the lawn, disappearing into the trees. He sort of just ran around aimlessly for a while, getting out some energy, before settling down a bit, just enough to start tracking a bear he'd scented. It would be a fun challenge, and bear meat was delicious

Celeste smiled, watching him go before getting comfortable on the couch with her book.

Sage tracked the bear for a while, stalking it once he was close enough and then launching himself at it. There was a fight, which he did sort of appreciate. He enjoyed the brawl, however short it lasted. The bear did get a good hit in, dragging its claws across his left pec, but it wasn't super deep or anything so he wasn't too worried.

Celeste eventually nodded off on the couch.

|
Sage eventually did win out against the bear, as he normally did, and grabbed the Animal in his jaws, tugging it back step by step. He was clearly happy with himself and his efforts, though his pec did sting a bit.
