Duncan shook his head, "I'll fly us somewhere where no one will see us," he explained.

Axels eyes light up when he mentioned flying them, the idea of being able to be up there and imagine it seeming really awesome. He'd wondered about flying for a while now ....and now it would actually happen, which wasn't something he had expected. "Just tell me what to do and when," he chirped happily, eager to get going.

Duncan nodded, going to his closet and pulling out a harness, climbing into his side of it and then showing Axel how to get into his half. They were pressed together, but this way, Axel wouldn't fall if they let go of each other.

Axel watched curiously when the harness was presented, though he didn't have any trouble getting into it. He had sort of just expected to have to hold on tight, but he supposed it made sense that duncan would have a harness. He certainly didn't mind being pressed up against Duncan either....in fact, it was rather nice."ready when you are," he chirped once the harness was set up.

Duncan nodded, blushing furiously. Admittedly, he was rather scared and nervous being this close to him, but he just told himself it meant nothing. Duncan walked over to his window and jumped, letting himself fall before catching the wind with his wings and the two of them flew away.

Axel couldn't help but let out an excited yell as Duncan hooked out the window, clearly excited to be flying. Or ...getting carried by someone flying, but that sounded less cool. Either way, he figured things were pretty great. And ...he did find himself thinking that it was definitely hot of Duncan to be able to carry him around so easily.

Duncan flew for a few miles before landing in the wood smoothly. They weren't too far from the palace, but they were far enough where no one would see them, and the guards wouldn't be this far out. He carefully got out of the harness, letting Axel get out too.

Axel had a grin on his face the whole time, laughing as they got out of the harness and moving to peer at Duncan's wings a little closer. "That was amazing," he noted, peering closely at the membrane like skin covering the wings, though he was careful not to touch them or get too close. "I've always wondered what that was like," he added excitedly.

| |
Duncan smiled back awkwardly, still flaming red as he usually was around Axel. He chuckled, tucking his wings back in tight. "I'm happy you liked it," he chuckled.

Axel just nodded with a grin, moving to focus on their surroundings after a bit. It had been a while since he'd been outside, after all, and this was new terrain in a way. He was used to forests, but he'd never been in this specific area. So, he scrambled around, eagerly taking in the details of the surrounding trees and grass and the stream that was flowing nearby. He just had a lot of energy to get out, and he was excited to finally be somewhere other than sitting in Duncan's room.
