Luca just stared at the headstones. He'd already set the foxgloves on his mother's grave, but not yet his sister. He didnt flinch or move as she leaned on him. A single tear dripped down his face before he knelt and set the Dafodils down for his sister.

Laurel waited and gave him room as he sat the daffodils down before using her thumb to wipe the trail the tear left from his face. Then, without a single word she wrapped her arms around him in a hug, her hand smoothing up and down his back in a soothing motion.

Luca hugged her back, closing his eyes and relaxing into her. They just stood there like that for a long while before letting go. He kissed his fingertips and pressed his hand to the top of each of their gravestones, before turning, taking her hand and walking in silence back to the limo.

When he hugged her back she just stayed there, unmoving as she did nothing but comfort him. She didn't care how long they'd stay, knowing that comforting him in that moment was the most important thing. She stepped back when he let go and smiled a small, sympathetic smile when he touched the gravestones. She knew he missed them badly. But, she still didn't say a single word as they walked back to the limo and got inside. Once they were in she stayed at his side, their hands resting on her thigh as she rubbed her thumb against his hand.

Luca held her hand as the limo drove them back to HQ. He got out with her, still holding her hand. Aria was in the lobby, and she saw them and gave them a sympathetic look, but she didn't come up to them. Luca went up to the penthouse and flopped down on his bed, curling up.

Laurel gave Aria a small smile before looking away, her attention back on Lucanas they went up to the penthouse. She kicked off her shoes before climbing onto the bed behind him, her body curling up around him gently. She wrapped an arm around his midsection, holding him firmly, but not in a restricting manner. Her other hand stroked over his hair. "Do you want to talk about it? Or do you just want me to keep holding you?" She murmured, not wanting to pressure him into anything.

Luca turned towards her and buried himself in her chest. He just stook his head, curling into her.

Laurel wrapped her arms around him again, holding him close. "Alright... I'm here," she murmured, brushing a kiss to the top of his head. She rubbed his back slowly, her heart beat calm and reassuring.

Luca curled into her, closing his eyes and listening to her heartbeat. Eventually he fell asleep, curled into her.

Laurel continued to hold him, never moving even when he fell asleep against her chest. She was astonished to see such a soft and vulnerable side to such a man, but at the same time her heart had broken into a million tiny pieces for him. She laid there for as long as she could without falling asleep, but eventually she dozed off with him in her arms.
