"I don't know. The rain isn't letting up much mother than it was yesterday" she eyed him again before walking over to the mouth of the cave. She stuck her hand through the rain, sucking in a breath as she did. she culled her hands then brought the water back in, slipping it up as it ran down her neck.

Cade did the same thing, the soda alone was not good enough hydration. "We could stay in here for a bit and wait for the rain to let up maybe?"

"That sounds more like it" she grinned then walked to her spot on the wall. Rascal was lapping up some water in a corner. Suddenly he perked up then ran out of the cave. "I guess her heard something. I bet he's hungry" she sat down and looked around. She was getting bored of this cave now

Cade was getting bored of the cave too but he knew that traveling in the rain wasn't enjoyable for anyone. He hoped Rascal was out getting food, the pup was going stir crazy and needed some exercise.

She looked at Cade then away again. They were alone. In a cave. What could go wrong? She smiled slightly at the thought. A WHOLE lot could go wrong. The cave could collapse. Rocks could block their entrance... Saphire found herself scanning every part of the cave, checking for cracks or any sign or weakness

Cade followed Saphire's gaze along the cave. "I think if the cave was going to collapse it would have." He wispered

She looked at him then down "yeah but still. You can never be to sure. " she unfolded her wings, stretching them then examining them. They were clos to being completely healed. She flapped them a few times and she lifted higher than she expected, hitting her head on the rock ceiling and falling to the floor. She clutched her head and winced at the pain. It wasn't bleeding, but she had hit it pretty hard.

Cade out of instinct, fell to his knees and craddled Saphires head in his lap.
Saphire curled into Cade, her hands still gripping onto her hair. "Ill be fine. I just need a few seconds" she winced and squeezed her eyes shut. "Ahh I did not think I would lift off any" she mumbled into his stomach

Cade desperately tried not to blush. Instead he smiled at her. "That's good, it shows that your wings are healing!"
