Mercy grabbed his hand and slipped down, wandering through the small stable in wonder. "This place is nice." She peeked out the back at the picturesque farmland. "Its beautiful here."

Once Mercy was down he quickly untacked Monty and put him up with some hay and feed. He shrugged his shoulders at what she said "It's okay I guess... Needs a bit of cleaning up but it's not wjere as good as your place" He saif to her quietly while walking up beside her

"I like it. It's rustic. My stable is all stuffy. This place looks like its actually used. Anyway, lets go see your mother!" She grabbed his hand and pulled him along to front door, waiting for him to open the door.

"Well I'm glad you like it" He said to her before going with her to the front door. He let out a quiet sigh before opening the front door. He lead Mercy in quietly to the main room where his mother was. She looked up from the chair and smiled seeing Kennedy then looked over at MErvy before tiltign her head "Now who is this pretty young lady?" She asked Kennedy before standing up to come greet her

"Well I'm glad you like it" He said to her before going with her to the front door. He let out a quiet sigh before opening the front door. He lead Mercy in quietly to the main room where his mother was. She looked up from the chair and smiled seeing Kennedy then looked over at MErvy before tiltign her head "Now who is this pretty young lady?" She asked Kennedy before standing up to come greet her

Mercy smiled. "My name is Mercy, ma'am. Its nice to meet you." She held her hand out for a hand shake, glancing at Kennedy.

Kennedy smiled back at his mother then looked over at Mercy and gave her a small wink. His mom, Lillie, walked up to Mercy and take her hand giving her a firm hand shake "Mercy is a lovely name. You can call me Lillie, no need for this ma'am nonsense." Lillie said with a warm smile before letting go of Mercys hand and walked over to Kennedy pulling him in for a hug "You were gone for awhile I started to worry, where were you?" She asked him. Kennedy hugged her back before rubbing the back of his neck "Uh well.. I just had a long day at work. Took me longer than usual for things" He said to her before glancing over at Mercy

"Thank you, Lillie." She smiled biting her lip and looking out the window when Kennedy glanced at her, stifling a chuckle.

Lille raised a small brow looking between the two before shaking her head with a small smile. "Alright then, would you two like some supper? I left some beef stew in the kitchen with some bread if you want it" She offered while gesturing them towards the kitchen. Kennedy shrugged his shoulders and looked once more at Mercy to see what she wanted

"Sure." Mercy ndoded at him, intertwining their fingers gently. She followed Lillie into the kitchen, observing her surroundings in interest. She had never been to any of the village homes, so this was quite a new experience. It was cozy, which she didn't mind whatsoever.
