Maddie sat down still didn't understand what happen and why she didn't tell her, Capitan sighed and pulls her away from Maddie ear shot and said " he lucky to make it out but he is in critical shape and it would take a long time to heal from he was shot in lung and just miss the heart by couple inches " before he sighed and said " Maddie would have to stay with you or if her mother coming then she be fine "

Kennedy held her breath as the captian spoke to her, when he finally finished speaking she let out a huge sigh of relief "Oh thank god..." She said wit ha shakey voice before pulling herself together so she wouldn't cry. Kennedy nodded as he spoke about Maddie "Okay, I will find out if her mothers coming here... Do you know if their allowing visistors yet?" She asked while glancing back at Maddie

Captain said " don't know yet he might still be sleeping or in a comma they don't know yet " as he looks at Maddie and said " does she know that her dad got shot " as he looks at her before the commander came in and said " sorry I am late I had to run to the station when I heard it " as she walks in and toward Maddie before bending down and hugging her since Maddie was about to cry as they hug Maddie started crying

Kennedy was a disappointed to hear that he wasn't sure but she brushed it off quickly. At his question she shook her head "No... All she knows is her dad isn't doing super well.. I didn't want to tell her exactly what was up until I came back and got a update on him" Kennedy said quietly then looked back seeing the commander walk in she watched as she went over to Maddie and instantly the girl started to cry. Kennedy sucked in a breath not being able to handle the site "I'm going to go see what room he is in...." She spoke quietly before lowering her gaze to the ground and walking off towards the nurses station

Captain nods and walks over to Maddie and said " is you mom coming " Maddie nods and the commander said " is okay he going to make it " Caden was laying there as he slowly opens his eyes and looks around before closing them again he was feeling so tired and weak feeling like a truck hit him Caden was on a breathing machine since he was sleeping and his lungs was weak so it would just make him pass out if he was breath on his own

Kennedy bite her tongue as she walked up the nurses station "Can you please tell me what room Caden Anderson is in?" She asked quietly, the nurse nodded nd search on the computer for a second "Room 115 but only two people are allowed in his room at a time since he is on a breathing machine" The nurse said calmly. Kennedy nodded a thanks to the nurse then turned to walk back to the waiting room but stopped. She needed to check up on Caden first, even if it was selfish she needed to see he was okay so she wouldn't lose her composure in front of others. So she turned and quickly found room 115 and peeked in the door, she saw that he had woken up and a wave of relief hit her but seeing him hooked up to the machine and the state he was in made her even more upset to the point she wanted to run away and not deal with it. Just like she had always done when things upset her badly or got too stressful was to just run away from it

Caden was trying to remember what was happening and he could not even remember calling the cops or himself getting shot but he wonders it would come to him in time caden heard the door open and turns to looks over his neck didn't hurt so he could look around and saw Kennedy before looking back at the ceiling he wasn't mad at her he was mad at himself at this point where he when out and got shot and Maddie might be so worried about him right now

Kennedy was about to walk away when she saw Caden look over at her, she sighed and after a moment she stepped into the room, biting the side of her cheek still keeping her composure "Hey... Are you okay? Do you want me to go get Maddie... she's been worried" Her voice trembled as she spoke as her demeanor was quickly faltering and her eyes began to fill with tears

Caden said " I am okay and no I don't want Maddie to see how badly I look but thanks for asking " caden looks back at her and moves his hand some and grabs her hand squeeze in before saying " you okay " as he wonders why she was crying and he didn't want her to be crying over his looks he knew he looked bad but he didn't care he would if Maddie had to see him right now looking like this before saying " Maddie can see me in the morning ill look better "

Kennedy nodded at what he said before looking down as he squeezed her hand, she moved closer to the bed and knelt down beside it so he didn't have to have it stretched out far "Yeah.... I'm okay" She spoke quietly while keeping her gaze at their hands, a few tears rolled down her cheek. "I'll make sure to tell her that... The captian and commander are here, do you want either of them to come in today too?"
