Andi nodded her head in agreement with what Trevor said, still she kept her gaze off him and everywhere else in the room "Exactly what I was thinking so come on, let's go!" She beamed with a smile while heading over to a counter, where her bag for work was, which she grabbed and slung over her shoulder. Andi finally brought her gaze over to Trevor with a small smile "Lead the way" She mused to him still with a smile, at first her thoughts did seem to simmer down but now the more she stared at him the more the thoughts bubbled up again, which in return kept a blush on her face

He nodded and slipped his shoes on before opening the door to leave Andi's apartment. He allowed her to leave first, since it was proper for a man to hold a door for a lady, before stepping out and letting the door close. Trevor then lead Andi out of the building and down a block and a half to the resteraunt. "Would you like to eat outside or inside," he asks Andi as he looks over at her. There were a few empty tables outside and one could see some empty table inside as well.

Andi waited as Trevor pulled his shoes on then walked over to the door. She smiled a thanks to him as he held the door open for her, after he closed the door she turned and locked it before turning right back around. Andi let Trevor lead her all the way down out of the building and over to the resturant, she stayed close by the entire time. At his question Andi looked up at him then at the seating options "Why don't we sit outside since it is nice out" Andi smiled then looked back at him "Unless you prefer sitting inside then I'm fine with that" She added quickly

Trevor shook his head, "No I'm fine with sitting outside. Lets go find a table then and someone will come out to get our order." He did think that it was a little strange for this place to have waiters but when you saw their system then you saw why. There was a line inside for people ordering take out while people planning to stay to eat got their orders taken by waiters. This made it a bit easier to control the kitchen when orders came in. Trevor only knew this since he had spoken to the owner, since they were a vampire as well, and gotten this information. Trevor leads Andi towards an empty table for two and pulls her chair out for her. "After you," he says as he gestures for her to sit.

Andi nodded her head "Okay then let's go" She agreed with him, admittedly she was a bit confused on why a waiter would come to them since she noticed there was a line inside. Andi racked her brain trying to find a answer but didn't think for long as it wasn't super important to know but it still was a bit confusing. As Trevor lead her over to a table she followed close to him as usual until they got up to a table. Andi smiled at him as he pulled a chair out for her "Thank you" She mused before sitting down in the chair he had pulled out (sorry that it's short)

He nodded at her thanks as he sat down in the chair across from her. Soon a waiter came out and gave them a double sided card of the menu and said they would return soon. Trevor began to scan through the menu before deciding on a breakfast "sampler" which had small pieces of the resteraunt's menu on it. He also chose a cup of coffee as his drink before looking up at Andi. "I bet you find it strange that there are waiters here," he says to her, "if you would like I can explain why. I was confused the first few times I came here too until I spoke to a friend of mine that works here."

She waited patiently for a waiter and when the waiter did come she took the menu card from them with a small smile as a thanks. As she flipped back and forth on the menu she was having a hard time deciding what she wanted because surprisingly Andi was a very indecisive person so it was always a struggle with simple things. Finally she just settled on a favorite breakfast items which were buttermik pancakes with a side of eggs, bacon, and toast along with simple oragne juice. After that she put the menu down she looked over at Trevor as he spoke "Yeah I was wondering why they had waiters here so please do explain" She said to him

Trevor smiled some as Andi finished and wanted to know why there were waiters here. "Well the owner told me it's to help hand out jobs easier," he explains, "plus this restaurant is actually two in one. Half of it is a dine in restaurant with waiters and everything. The other half is a take-out or delivery restaurant. That side only really has a kitchen and delivery people. The owner makes a lot of money from having this place run like this and it gives people like me an opportunity to work." When Trevor had said "people like me," he hoped that Andi saw that he was referring to other vampires like him.

Andi put her arms on the table and leaned forward resting her head in her hands as she listened to Trevor speak, fully paying attention to every word. She nodded along as he spoke since everything he said made sense but at the end she tilted her head with a confused expression "People like you?" Andi repeated, she knew Trevor seemed pretty stable in life so she knew it probably had nothing to do with how someones life was... Until it hit her that he meant for vampires "Ohhh.. Well that must be comforting to have somewhere safe to work with no worry of a 'human' co-worker finding out or something." She spoke quietly so only Trevor could hear what she was saying as Andi looked around at the employees. It really didn't change her view on them but she did find it interesting that almost all the employees could be or are vampires Edited at July 7, 2023 07:37 AM by The Ghost Barn

He looked at Andi and nodded at her reply on what he had said. He smiled some seeing her leaned across the table and the look she had as he spoke made him know she was listening. "Yeah I hear that a lot of the workers enjoy working with others like them," he says to her, "and the owner says that it's like a big family. A few of the workers have tried to convince me to work here because the pay is good. In fact the owner has also tried to get me to come work here since they are installing a coffee bar and need a barista. But I have denied them since I enjoy working at the other coffee shop. I did tell them that I would take up their offer if I ever get fired or leave though. So it's nice to have a back up plan in case."
