Sage hummed in thought, before offering a small smile. "I'm certainly trying," he noted softly. Really, he was just guessing at what he should be doing but he supposed it was working if the babies were doing well.

Celeste smiled. "I've seen a bunch of really shit dads, and you, my husband, are a wonderful father to our kids,"

Sage hummed softly, looking over their babies and liz, leaning against Celeste. "Only because you came along," he noted.

"Baby, you were a good dad without me too. You had to work to provide for your daughter. You were and are a spectacular father,"

Sage grunted, disagreeing slightly, but moving past it in a moment or so. "I guess we all just try our best," he murmured.

"You're a amazing father to our kids," she said firmly, pecking his cheek.
