Kai smiled, "Wanna walk the beach until the flight attendants are done unpacking everything?"

Camery nodded lightly to him. "Look at you, suggesting things," she joked softly, pecking his cheek lightly. He'd always been very... she didn't know how to put it. He never really joked around with her - always very serious. She really had thought for a while if the whole acting as a bodyguard thing wasn't even acting. He was just... like that. Still, she gave a soft nod after a moment. "Sure thing. Beach it is," she chirped. Edited at March 16, 2025 01:45 PM by Belle

Kai smiled and took her hand, walking down to the staircase off their deck that went right down to the beach.

Cam wandered down quietly with him, admittedly struggling with the stairs with the new weight on her back. They were heavy. Like, super heavy. They almost hurt, and they were sensitive as hell. She didn't know what Kai ment when he'd said females weren't as sensitive. Maybe it was jsut because she wasn't used to them, but they sure as hell felt sensititve. She sort of looked over at Kai for a moment, her face twisting. "Malakai?" She asked after a moment, her brows slightly raised. "Say something that'll make me laugh-" she paused for a moment, chuckling lightly. "I don't think you've ever made a joke, you know," she hummed.

"Okay um..." he thought for a moment, walking on the beach with her. "Oh, Why do seagulls fly over the sea? Cause if they flew over the bay, they'd be called Bagels,"

Cam looked up at him as he thought, the setting sun shining over his features. He really was very handsome. She did think for a moment, that even if he was just a bodyguard, they'd probably somehow be in the same spot right then. If not, they'd probably be curled up in her bed, watching a movie or something like that. The thought brought a small smile to her face. Yeah, that was a nice image to have in her head. One way or another, they'd somehow still be together. Unless they'd never met. That would pose a problem in her little fantasy land. As he gave her his frankly awful joke, she couldn't help her little laugh. "That, sir, is what you call a dad joke," she chuckled, a grin spreading across her face.

Camery walked next to him, letting out a slow breath at his lack of reply. That was fine. He was never much of a talker, she supposed. She gently bumped his side after a moment. "It's alright, we have a whole lifetime to work on your humor," she mused softly, leaning up to peck his cheek. She sort of kicked sand, the warm but setting sun beating on her back.

Kai smiled. "A whole lifetime together,"

Cam grinned and gave a gentle nod. Yep, they had a whole lifetime. She'd fix that dryness right up. Or, he'd mellow her out but really, who knew what'd happen. "A whole lifetime," she chirped to him. She looked back at the mansion as she spotted the attendants leaving, then the plane slowly starting to take off. Once it'd dipped behind the clouds, she turned to him with a grin. "Right, Kai, if you're gonna kill me you've got two whole months to do it. At least play around with me first," she told him with a sulty chuckle.
