Sage chuckled and nodded after wrinkling his nose at the girl playfully. "I sent her to get some decent food for her parents and she made me promise to eat something myself," he admitted, amused at the girls stubborn and pretty bossy nature. "Shes stubborn and bossy ...no wonder you two sometimes but heads," he giggled, half teasing Anyas more bossy side. He didn't not like that part of her though, in fact it was quite the opposite. 'i don't know what all she's planning on bringing back...I'll wait and see how little I can get away with eating."

Anya rolled her eyes a little before giving a slight chuckle. The two of them got along, really, but it didn't help that they were both rather stubborn. God, did she have a kind of rivalry with an eight-year-old? Seemed that way, but it was more of a sibling-type rivalry than anything. "Just make sure you try something, alright? You're gonna need energy to get better, which better be soon.," she teased softly as she took a little bit of his long hair at the front and played with it quietly. She just wanted him to feel better... she knew he wasn't a huge fan of sitting around and doing nothing, so he'd be happier once he could run around and cause trouble again. It was good to see him like that, not worrying all the time whether or not he was being followed or if someone was trying to hurt him. With his guard down, he didn't seem too... scary. He just seemed like a normal seventeen-year-old, someone who wanted to go and have fun rather than have to be so... grown up all the time. He was more relaxed, and she did like seeing him that way. Sage chuckled and nodded. "Fine, fine," he sighed, though really he didn't mind much that they were making him eat...they only meant well. "I suppose the things I can look forward to are good enough to eat," he joked, setting the now finished drawing to the side and cuddling up to Anya with a grin. He did want to get better, but food just...wasn't setting right with him right about then. But he supposed he could put up with it. It wouldn't last long, would it? He fully planned on being better in no less than two weeks...any longer and he'd go stir crazy in here. But at least he had visitors now.

Anya grinned and pressed another kiss to his cheek. "They're good enough to eat... and I plan on making the most of you before you go," The girl purred before wrapping her arms around him again, one lightly tracing his back. "So try something. See if Charlotte has something more appealing to you, though." She shrugged gently. She caught a slight glimpse of his little drawings and pushed out a small smile. She did wonder if he'd find the time to draw when he went back out again... it seemed like something he enjoyed and he was very good at it. "And you and Luther can run around and cause some more trouble before you go. I'm sure he'd like that."

Sage chuckled and nodded. "I promise I'll eat something," he assured the girl. He supposed the two of them pushing him to eat something was helpful...he didn't think he would eat if they weren't constantly telling him to eat so he could get better. He supposed he did want to get better as soon as possible...he didn't like being this...helpless, if you could put it that way. He'd always been the strong one, and not being able to even sit up or walk around seemed to be so boring and...just gross, to put it quite frankly. He'd always been a pretty fast healer, so he hoped to be all good soon. And then he could screw around with Anya and Luther, and probably Charlotte as well. "Yeah, Luther's been busy, I haven't seen him in a while. It would be nice to relax with him before I go," he admitted.

Anya pouted ever so slightly before shrugging. "Has Luther not come to visit?" She asked with a slightly cocked head. She did think that they were pretty good friends... so surely the boy would have dropped in at some point. Maybe Sage was out cold if he'd come in. "I can go find him if you're wanting. It's a little strange that he hasn't come to see though, I thought you two were close," the girl murmured before resting her chin on his head. She did briefly wonder if anyone else had dropped in to see the boy. Obviously, he wasn't exactly close with too many people, but she did hope that people would have the decency to make sure he was alright. Like her mother, for example. Sage saved her. So why hadn't she dropped in? She didn't have a clue, but she was a little disappointed with that fact.

Sage chuckled and shrugged. "He might have. You stopped by multiple times, apparently, and I had no idea," he told the girl. He grinned, kind of amused by the thought. "I was bleeding to my death from the inside out, ya know. Wasn't really aware of if someone came for a visit or not," he joked. "Besides, I think the doctor shooed everyone away since he didn't want them sick too," he admitted. "If you want to you can, though he's probably busy along with everyone else." He and Luther were pretty good friends, but he hadn't really expected the boy to come for many visits...all the guards were surely busy, and Luther was no exception to that. He didn't really know very many people in the castle, and most of the ones he did know pretty much hated him with a passion. Maybe that passion would be taken out of the queen's views of him, though of course, she was pretty stubborn herself so he wasn't hoping for anything.

Anya let out a chuckle that turned into a type of groan. She knew he wasn't aware of much, that he was literally dying, and also that fact that the doctor hadn't let anyone see him. It was a good thing. Sage wasn't exactly a pretty sight in the matter, and if she was being honest, it was... frankly foul. Poor boy. She pressed another kiss to his nose before letting out a sigh. "I'll leave him be for the time being. You can tackle him once you're all better." She gave a slight giggle before sitting up again and ruffling his hair up. "I bed Charlotte was pleased to see you. She's been talking none stop about you, you know. It's really sweet," she hummed with a slight laugh. It was sweet... Sage wasn't an exactly welcoming-looking guy, and it did shine a brighter light on him when he had a child clinging to him.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "Wish I could be out there helping," he groaned. "Instead I'm laying here all day cause I can barely walk two feet forward," he complained. He really did hate to lay around when so much needed to get done...there would be another attack, he was almost positive, and he wanted to be helping rather than being a bother to everyone in the ward. Well, except for Charlotte. Then he gave the girl a grin. "If I tried to tackle Luther I think I'd just land on him. And he'd look confused as to why a giant fly was on him before he realized it was me and not some large bug," he joked, indicating the other boy's much larger body size. A soft smile came onto his face instead of a mischievous one when Anya mentioned Charlotte. The girl was really sweet, and he did love her for it. "Man, did she come flying in for a hug," he laughed softly, remembering the tiny ball of sunshine.

Anya couldn't help the smile that formed on her face when Sage mentioned the girl. He seemed to light up at the thought of her... god it was adorable. Charlotte made the boy so... happy, and all Anya could feel when he talked about her was a sense of warmth in her chest that she couldn't quite describe. It was a good thing, though, that was for sure. "Ah, she loves you. You're like a brother to her!" Anya bubbled, a huge grin on her face. "I think she'll miss you more than anyone when you go. You're so good with her, Sage." She hummed out. She did think it was a shame that she wouldn't get to see the boy... but Sage was welcome to come and visit anytime, so they could spend some time together whenever he did that. "You know, you're a lot better with kids than I thought you'd be. You were always good with Liz, but I wasn't sure what I was expecting when you met the kids up here." The girl noted thoughtfully.
