Noah smiled, kissing her forehead.

Em drifted off engulfed in his warmth, his arms comforting.

Noah let her fall asleep first before he did too.

She dreamt of the night, and some other weird stuff per usual dreams.

Noah slept. He dreamed, but he would remember them in the morning, he never did.

Em awoke that morning, Rocky having hopped up on their bed and was mouth gaping snoring right in her face. She jerked back a little, half asleep and getting absolutely jumpscared.

"What the--" She muttered, shoving Rocky away and the dog rolling off the bed--also still half asleep. Emery's mouth gaped, looking over to see if the dog was okay and yup--he was rolled on his back, head lolled to the side with his tounge hanging out the side of his mouth.
