Ben came in after feeding the horses, thanked Emma for the food, scarfed it down, and headed back out. He did some in-hand work with Cash before exercising a few other horses on the lunge line. |

Emma sighed, stressed about the whole thing. She texted Ben. -Would you come to the store with me? So I'm not alone- |

Ben was putting Symphony away when his phone buzzed with a text. He saw the message from Emma and replied. -Of course. I'll be at the parking lot in 5.- He made sure all the horses were secure, then headed to the gravel lot, where his car and Emma's were parked. |

Emma was sitting in her car, scrolling, and jumped slightly when she saw Ben. "S-sorry" She muttered |

"All good." He said, hopping into the passenger's seat. |

She drove to the grocery store, getting a cart and feeling insecure. Without thinking, she grabbed his hand and held onto it, her heartbeat steadying as she calmed down from a would-be panic attack. She got all the groceries and checked out, letting go of his hand |

Ben was silent on the ride to the store, because he didn't know what to say that would help. So he didn't say anything, and followed her into the store. When she took his hand, he was surprised, but saw that she needed comfort, so he didn't question it. He helped her gather groceries and check out, and loaded the bags into the back seat of her car. He returned the cart and got into the passenger seat again. |

What if she has like a rly bad nightmare or smth and he calms her down and just holds her? Idk just trying to spark smth lol) She drove home, not even realizing what she had done. SHe yawned, unloading groceries when they go back. "Thank you for going with me" She murmured |

(Yeah that's a good idea. I'm trying to as well but it's hard considering he's never been interested in having a girlfriend before.) . Ben smiled, a little tired from worrying so much. "It was no trouble. Glad I could help." He helped her unload the groceries, then made to leave to exercise the rest of the horses. |
