Lorelei nodded with a yawn.

"Sleep, beautiful" He said softly, rubbing her back

Lorelei smiled and hummed happily, leaning in and falling asleep.

Kai fell asleep a bit later, obviously not waking up for a while

Lorelei woke a bit later, just snuggling in.

Kai slept, muttering in his sleep and beginning to toss and turn. He rolled to his side, nearly tosssing her off him as tears streaked down his face

Lorelei squeaked as he tossed and turned and her body thrashed as he did. She noticed his tears and quickly started poking him and trying to wake him up, "Kai!"

Kai launched up, falling off the bed and cursing while the tears continued. He was gasping for air, sobbing on his knees and his head in his hands. "Please" He muttered, slowly coming to his senses and standing. "Sorry" He muttered, his voice cracking with leftover fear

Lorelei stood, worried. "Hey, hey, what's wrong?" She asked, taking his hands in hers.

"N-nothing" He said, his face paling. "What did I say? Did I say anything about my father?"
