Luca stayed up for a little while longer before heading off to bed too.

The next morning Laurel woke up decently early, deciding to make breakfast since she woke up feeling so good. In truthfulness, she'd had a questionable dream about Luca and needed to distract herself. So, she found herself quietly dancing around the kitchen with earbuds playing music in as she made scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast while waiting for Luca to get up.

Luca woke up a little after her. He went to go to the kitchen, but stopped short in the doorway, watching her dance. She was beautiful...

Laurel was oblivious, still swaying her hips to the music and humming quietly. Her hair was tousled from sleep. She had just started to put everything on plates when she turned around and saw Luca watching her from afar. She blushed and a sheepish smile crept across her face as she stopped dancing and took the earbuds out. "Good morning.."

Luca smiled at her, walking towards her once she'd stopped dancing. "Good morning," he said casually. "What are you listening to?"

Laurel smiled, meeting him half way when he walked towards her. "I'm not sure what the song was, but it's 80's rock music," she answered, glancing over him absentmindedly. He was so handsome..

Luca nodded and looked her over too. He tore his eyes away from her and eyed the food she'd made before sitting down at the counter and beginning to eat. After a few bites he pulled out his phone, checking his notifications. None. Huh, that was weird. He checked the date. Oh... the 18th... his mother and sisters death anniversary. Luca grit his teeth, losing his appetite entirely. "You're off today. You don't have to do anything with me today," he muttered, getting up to go pull his shoes on and shrug on his coat. "I have an errand to run," he muttered sadly, which probably came out as angry. He left, walking out of HQ, getting into his limo. ( Maybe she goes to church or smth, cause its a Sunday, and she sees him standing in the graveyard as shes leaving? )

(Sounds good to me!) - Laurel ate a few bites too, pleased to see that he did at least want to eat what she had cooked. At least, that was until something seemed to bother him. She frowned, concern filling her head as he told her she was off and that he had an errand. Something was definitely off. "Alright.. Y-Yes sir," she nodded, watching him go before she started cleaning up. She put everything away before getting dressed, deciding that she'd go to church since she finally had a day off. Between working constantly and finding time to see her father, it had been a few weeks since she'd entered a church. The moment she reached the sanctuary she felt right at home, of course, but Luca was still fresh on her mind..

Luca had the driver go to a local flower shop. He bought flowers for both his mother and his sister. Daffodils for his sister and Foxglove for his mother, their favorites. He drove down to the local church and went to the graveyard, where they were buried.

Laurel attended church, immersing herself into the service the best that she could. There were people who knew her who wanted to talk and ask questions afterwards, but when she looked out towards the cemetery, she saw a familiar figure that made her heart sink. She said her quick goodbyes and excused herself before walking out there. She saw the names on the headstones first, not having to guess to know who they were to him. Laurel didn't say anything, but she wouldn't feel right leaving either, so what she did was attempt to comfort. She placed a gentle, soothing hand to his back when she came to his side, her head dipping for a moment in silent respect for the passed.
