Zephyr grabbed stuff out of his locker and put stuff back in, turning as Sophia walked up. His eyebrows just 'bout shot off the top of his head. "Oof. Okay, well, you did look pretty nice, but sweatpants and sneakers probably wouldn't have dampened it much. Sorry to say, but you look just as nice without it than with it. Sorry for the weirdness anyway on that note want me to smack him in the face or are you good?" He asked with a joking smile, though he did glance over at a guy that was staring at him with a slight glare.

"Are you always like this" Sophia asked with a smile. It's not weird or anything and NO! Don't slap him!" She kept her voice low but the exaggerated tone still pushed through. She flicked his elbow. "Be nice. " she demanded.

"Yeaaaahhh I'm kind of always this creepy." Zephyr joked with a small grin. "Why not? How about walk up to him and give him a piece of my mind? Or at least glare at him. At VERY least." He laughed a little, shaking his head. "I can't be nice. Sometimes." He cast a glance at the guy again who had looked away quickly.

"Why would you need to give him a piece of your mind, huh?" Sophia asked. Her sly smile daring him to answer. "You have to be nice! Being mean is just... well... mean!" The girl chuckled, lightly placing her hair over her shoulder and letting the waves cascade down her back.

Zephyr ran a hand through his hair. "Neeeeevermind." He answered, his expression almost daring her to push harder. Hey, he couldn't help it. "That wouldn't be being mean! It'd be being..." He trailed off, thinking. "Protective." He finally decided on, glancing at the clock, his eyes widening slightly. "Oof, I might be late for class. Theeeen again, my Math class teacher gets terrified if I hold a calculator to him, so I might be okay." He joked, smiling a little.

Sophia shook her head. "No tell me. Why would you need to give that random guy a piece of your mind?" She smirked, although the next answer made her start thinking. "Ooooh. Protective huh? Over me? Wow!" She chuckled, gathering her bags. "I didn't know I could spark a sense of pretextivness in TWO guys at once!" She shook her head. +darn it. I need to keep Blake out of this+ "my teacher will probably give me extra homework if I'm not there. See you at the lunch?" She asked

Zephyr rubbed the back of his neck. "Uhhhmmm..." He trailed off, again, as she spoke. "Ouch, okay, it isn't a BAD thing." He snorted heavily, shaking his head. "Lucky you. Okay, see you at lunch, and don't think too hard." He rolled his eyes slightly before walking off, towards his Math class. He struggled through math, although it wasn't THAT bad, and then suffered through history, which was MUCH worse. After that, a little more joy sparked, he quickly went to lunch.

Sophia was joyful and chipper through her first class although she hated it. In art, she quietly filled Izzy in on what happened at prom. She was coloring with crayons- why? Art teachers were funny like that sometimes- when the bell rang. "Guess I'm finishing at home" she giggled before walking to the lunch table. "Crayons are going to be the death of me. And so is waiting for this game" she eyed her surroundings. "These stomach butterflies are starting to go crazy" she had a feeling it wasn't just the game that was sending butterflies all over her.

Zephyr got some food then looked up as Sophia came in, his gaze lighting up slightly. "Crayons?" He asked, then nodded, tilting his head slightly at her next words. Okay. Well. At this point, there was a tiny Itty bitty little part of him that had butterflies as well, and he didn't have the excuse of a game. He knew what his butterflies were about, but he wasn't going to say anything. "I'm sure they are- the game is a big thing that you're gonna do great on." He said cheerfully, taking a bite.

Sophia kept quiet for a few minutes. "Only two two classes and I'm going to be out there. Two hours before the game. Wait! No! I'm getting out early. I forgot about that" she gathered her stuff together, quickly ate then stopped and looked at him.
