yeah, last time she was 'Kaden's' plus one and he didn't come and they hung out)) He narrowed his eyes with a slight grin at the tease. He tilted his head. "Unfortunately I never had the chance to, they preferred me to stay away from the crowd." He smiled. "Though I've definitely seen you, Sir Kaden." He mocked her right back. "Yes it is, you've always been invited, I never have seen you there though. I would love to." He said slightly coyly.

"Oh, of course, they have to protect precious baby Ali. How could I forget?" Kitty joked. She rolled her eyes, rolling over and flopping her head on the armrest. "Never call me that again." She huffed, looking over her shoulder. "Well, 'Kaden' doesn't like ballroom things like that. Too many drunk people, too many ladies SwOoNiNg at his feet, you know the deal." She teased. She looked at him with a curious gaze, slightly surprised. She cocked her head and rolled onto her back again, smiling slightly. "Oh? Is that so? Well then. If I didn't know any better, your highness, I might think you were inviting me to the ball." She teased, sitting up a little straighter and smirking at him.

He snickered at her offense, apparently sir Kaden was off limits. He grinned at her. He'd remember that. He looked at her with curiosity. "Have you ever even been to one? At a royal one you get thrown out for uhh..public indecency usually." He giggled a little. "I might beee. You could be Kaden's plus one and just hang out with me or something." He smiled innocently.

"Well, no. It always seemed too much of a fuss, and theres always the off chance someone decides to yank my helmet off, and then I'd be executed, so." She shrugged, biting her lip in a slightly giddy manner. "...Alright. But only if you give me a WAY better invite than sitting on my couch, tormenting me about my alter ego." She teased. "Do some formal ball invite thing- surely you had to take classes on that as a prince, right?" She mocked, fully intending on making him work for it. Admittedly, there was a strange, fluttery feeling in her stomach at the idea that he had asked her out. To a ball. As herself.

He narrowed his eyes. "You clearly have not. You aren't supposed to go there in armor." He said with a bit of a giggle. "Oh fine. I'll get you a proper invite." He wiggled his eyebrow. "But not right now, I'll wait til I see you again." Smiling sweetly at her. "Yes yes of course I did. Not that I cared enough to listen- but I did take it." He said defensively.

"Oh- well then, you see how I would be unable to attend." Kitty giggled, watching Ali. She smiled at him excitedly, chuckling at him. "I would like that, very much." She sat up and found herself faintly thinking of what she would wear. "Well, maybe you should have paid more attention to your studies, then." She mocked, hesitating before she walked over and gave him a gentle hug. "Thanks for the invite." She murmured.

"I never said you'd say you were Kaden in this scenario." He gave her a mysterious look. He smiled, wondering now how he would invite her formally. "I don't need studies when I am a natural. Just you wait." He teased. He looked up at her, he hadn't thought she was a hugger. He smiled at her. "Of course." Should we skip to england soon?))

Yeye)) She pulled back with a smile and walked past him to do... she didn't even know what she was going to do. She ended up going into her room to look at her closet... not a ball gown in sight. Which meant she got to go custom dress shopping. (You le start)

The sky was clear and blue, it wasn't yet noon. The stands were almost completely filled with people who were waiting for the tournament to begin. Ali managed to escape from his parents and into the barn hoping to find her. He was wearing fancy clothes, a purple buttondown with odd embroidery by the collar, lightly colored cream pants and a cape oddly enough. It barely didn't touch the ground and was very fluffy, white wool was attached to the front seam. A small chain connected it to keep it draped over his shoulders. The main fabric was cream with purple and gold highlighted embroidery. His hair was no longer messy, it was groomed to be a straight part line down the middle and be fluffy, but he had ruffled it so it didn't feel like it was glued to his head. He was looking for her. The barn was pretty big, the England event was always special, the arena was bigger than others too. It was less than a hundred feet from the arena and the sound of the crowd's chatter could be heard from the barn. Edited at August 14, 2023 11:49 PM by Prismatic Cove

It was still long enough before the tournament that Kitty hadn't changed. She was sitting boredly on a haybale, curled up. As busy as it was, and as strangely as he was dressed, she recognized him almost as soon as he walked in. She raised her eyebrows at the outfit, but essentially ran up to him. "Hello your highness. Have we met before?" She teased, circling him and running her fingers over his cape, pausing with her hand on his chest and her head tilted up at him, giggling. "You look ridiculous. What did they do to your hair?" She promptly reached up and ruffled it, despite it's already half fluffed look.
