"Hm? Oh- probably some more paperwork," he says looking away from her and at the sunrise, "my father might quiz me unless he is busy, but I imagine that they are swimming in papers."
"papers sound annoying" Ellimere said with a soft chuckle, "do you like doing them?" She asked
| |
"Paper work? Not with a single bone in my body," he says shaking his head, "they get easier once you know what you are doing, but they are still boring."
Ellimere chuckled, "yea, I would have to agree, papers sound boring" she said sitting back with a smile on her face
| |
"Tell me about it," he says with a sigh, "I usually have to do them a couple times a week, but those are just practice papers. My parents do all of the actual papers since they are the king and queen."
"oh, do you look forward to becoming king?" She asked, Ellimere never even thought of Trevor as a king, she knew she couldn't keep liking Trevor the way she did, because he was a future king
| |
He shrugged, "I mean I guess.. Honestly I wish I didn't have to. Don't get me wrong some parts of being a king is fun and all but then there are the thinsg that aren't fun. For example I can go out and greet people around the city, that's fun, but then I also have to have three hour long meetings with other royals, which is really not fun."
"oh, What fun things do you mostly focus on?" Ellimere asked
| |
Trevor thought for moment before answering, "I occasionally will help organize festivals in the city, mostly figuring out decorations and games, while other times I just go out and meet people. But I don't go out very often anymore."
Ellimere looked at him, "why not?" She asked, then she came up with an idea, "why don't we go out?" She said then realised a mistake, "wait! No! I didn't mean it that way" she said waving her arms around
