Noahs eyes widened. "Shit.." he breathed. "Is there anything I can do to help? I could talk to him if you'd like," Noah offered. He knew from past experience, about attempting.

"You could try, see if you could even get him to speak." She muttered, honestly having given up on him.

| |

Noah nodded, "Okay," he hummed. He'd go see him later that day.
| |

"Thank you, Noah. It really means alot to me," Emery breathed, resting her head against him.
| |
| |

Noah smiled. "Of course,"
| |

"You're the best person I could've asked to come into my life, y'know that?" Emery asked, gazing up at him.
| |
| |

"And you're the best thing that has ever come into my life too,"
| |

Emery smiled, her heart a little warmer.
| |
| |

Noah smiled, kissing her head. When Max got home a few hours later, Noah approached the man. "Hey, Max. Emery told me what was going on. I know we don't know each other that well, but I've been through it too," he spoke softly, showing Max the scars on his wrists. "I know you don't believe it right now, but there are people in this world who love and care for you and it's not worth taking yourself out of this world,"
| |

Max nodded silently, looking up at him with a straight expression. "I know, but...it's not worth staying either."
