I chuckled, trailing my lips lightly along her neck. "I know,"

I nodded, stopping as I flicked out the lamp, pulling her a smidge tighter against me as I drifted off.

I slept soundly through the night, dreaming of the heavenly sight i'd awake to---which, it took me a couple minutes to realize I wasn't dreaming, I had just awoken to a godess. I grinned, pulling her a smidge closer before my smile fell, remembering the texts I saw from a quick glance. The same thought burned in my mind as before: Fuck Cadence. Cadence? Candice? For fuck's sake, I don't give two shits, as long as she doesn't mess my whole world up (aka, Emily).

She woke the next morning with a soft smile, kissing him gently. "Good morning" She said softly. She got up and got dressed while checking her phone. More Cadence texts. "Good morning," I murmured in response, voice having lowered significantly over the timespan of me sleeping, kissing her back before she got up, my gaze following her figure around the room. After she left I got up, walking to our bathroom before brushing my teeth, heading downstairs and helping with breakfast while humming a tune. -i'm warning you while I can, hon- Yet another ding from her phone, and by now I have zero doubt she's starting to believe whatever the hell Cadence is saying. -Please Em, don't believe her. It's all lies, please don't believe her and let us last just a bit longer, please.-
