Gale took the bow and notched the arrow effortlessly, drawing it back before releasing it, the arrow flying and landing on a tree.He smiled slightly, handing her the bow again and walking over, grabbing the arrow and putting it in the quivel.The man kissed Kayla's cheek before gathering the few items he carried, standing straight now. "It's best we keep moving, love."

Kayla just followed him, thinking

Gale eventually turned into the town, only a guard or two reckognizing him as he walked into a weaponry and bought a new bow and two sets of arrows, slinging them over his back before turning to Kayla. "Do you need anything while we're here?"

Kayla shook her head, not meeting his eyes

"You okay?" He asks, rubbing the spot where the dagger has pierced through his neck.

"Kayla, you sure you're okay?" He asks again, shifting.

"It's....a lot to deal with..." She said quietly, not meeting his eyes. "I didn't even care when I killed thos guys...."

"Yeah..." He agreed, looking down. "I agree.It's....it's really hard at first, realizing what a monster you've become.You don't flinch when you kill somebody, that's when it sets in and you realize, you've changed in ways you never thought were possible.I've been like that for six years or so and, I still carry that thought with me.It gets better overtime, though." Gale said quietly, looking up.
