Celeste slept peacefully. |

Sage eventually put the kids down for their nap and then settled on the couch, sketching out a picture of Celeste, sleeping peacefully |

Sage was more than happy for some down time and stayed quiet, hoping for a good couple hours of quiet |

Once he finished his drawing, he decided to go wander outside and just enjoy the forest for a while. He kept his ears trained on the house, so he'd know when the kids or Celeste woke, but he was enjoying just crawling around in the forest. He didn't get much time outside like this anymore. |

Celeste woke up a little later. "...Sage?" |

Sage felt his ears flicker when he heard Celeste call him, so he let out a sort of howl like noise that would carry to her ears. Just....letting her know where he was at, since he was probably a quarter mile away from the house by then. |

Celeste heard him, glancing over to the window. "...can you come back home soon?" She asked. "I just want someone to talk to...." |

Sage had already started trotting back towards the house, but let out a yip of confirmation when he heard her question. It didn't take him long to get back to the yard, trotting on all fours as he clambered inside and then moved to to their room, hopping onto the bed next to her happily. |
