Celeste took a long time in the shower. She cried. She washed herself. She cried again. Everything hurt. Her stomach was still all stretched out and flabby from being pregnant with the triplets, and there was another litter on the way. Her chest was achy and had its own set of issues. She just cried.

Sage knew Celeste was having a hard time with it all, and he couldn't help but hope none of their new kids turned out to be werewolves. He wanted them to have a normal life.

Celeste kept crying in the shower, even as the water turned cold.

Sage did get a bit worried after a while, so he settled the kids in playpens and then moved up to the bathroom, knocking softly, giving her the option of turning him away. "You alright," he called in softly.

Celeste cried harder. "...no"

Sage sighed softly. He figured as much. He slid into the bathroom, wrinkling his nose when he noted the water was cold. She'd catch a cold like this, so he turned the water off and wrapped her up on a warm towel, just holding her.

Sage sighed softly and moved to help dry her off and get her into warm clothes, then under the covers of their bed to warm up, just holding her

Celeste continued to cry and shiver, cuddling into him under the covers.

Sage knew the kids were ok, so he just stayed with when he'd be there as long as she needed him
