Sage half jumped when Anya squeaked, more worried that he'd hurt the girl than out if pain from where she'd bitten him. In all reality, the bite didn't hurt....though, he calmed down once he realized he'd just hit a sensitive spot of the girl's. Then he realized he needed to respond and kind of sighed before half laying down next to the girl to peck her cheek gently. "It's fine. I'm fine. Really, don't worry about it," he told the gir. He really was fine...the wounds he'd received pretty much trumped anything he may have felt from the girl. And she'd bitten him before, so really he didn't know why she'd become so shy about it.

Anya shook her head before covering her fave with her hands and blowing out a half chuckle half sigh type thing. "Sorry," she grumbled again, peaking through her fingers sheepishly. "I'm not sure whats going on. I don't think I'm doing too well." It was true enough, Anya maybe wasn't the best im the head at the moment, but that was still no reason bite the boy. She hadn't even meant to. The girl reached forward to press a kiss to the end of the boys nose before curling up the best she could next to him. God, she didn't think she'd been so embarrassed in... forever, even thoigh Sage had told it was fine, she still felt awful.

Sage chuckled slightly and nodded. "Why don't we go get some rest then," he suggested. If Anya was off, then a nap would do her some good. "And don't think too much of it, alright? It's not like you haven't bitten me before," he pointed out, the last bit a slightly teasing reference to their night at the cave. He wrapped his arms around the girl though, slight amused at her reaction. "You know, you're pretty cute when you're embarrassed," he couldn't help but chuckle. He knew she felt bad, but really, it hadn't hurt, and he really was fine.

The give gave a kind of shy chuckle before resting her head on his good shoulder. Her face was still pretty red, and she did feel awful about it but tried to shrug it off. "I know, but last time I'd bitten you you'd asked me to, and you seemed to enjoy it... but... well... you didn't have three bullet holes either." She chuckled in response to him calling her cute. She didn't think it, at all, but she still grinned stupidly at him. "Yeah... that's probably smart," she murmured with a slight nod. Sage wasn't well either, so rest would do some good... the warm water would have been good for him, even if there weren't just sitting there.

Sage chuckled at that. "Well, I had one I believe," he mused. "And at that point, what's two more?" He pecked the tip of the girls head lightly. "Come on, let's head back and gets some rest." He was, admittedly, wearing down and would have just flipped into the closest bed, but he didn't want to leave Charlotte long, so he'd put up with being dragged back to the doctor's office. He stood up and got out of the tub, grabbing a towel for himself and Anya, tossing it at the girl as she got out of the bath. It was cold out if the warm water, so he dried off and got dressed quickly, then absentmindedly reached over to help Anya tie up the lace on the back of her dress. He supposed that's just what he was used to by now. "You ready?" When the girl nodded, he grunted and turned to leave, only waiting for the girl to grab him and help him walk back to the doctor's. By the time they got back, sage was exhausted, and pretty much just collapsed into the bed, barely having enough energy to wrap his arm around Charlotte, who'd fallen asleep on his bed before passing out himself.

Anya smiled softly as Sage flopped back and pretty much just passed out. It hadn't taken too long to happen, not at all, so she was happy to wait for a little while until she was sure the boy wasn't going to wake up from any of those nasty dreams he'd get. She didn't stay more than half an hour though and quickly scuttled off once she was happy. She wandered around the corner to see the doctor and gave a slight smile. "Sage is all sorted," she hummed quietly, to which the man just looked her up and down and gave a slight nod. The ends of the girl's hair were still a little wet, so he'd probably pieced a few things together. "You look pale," he noted out of the blue and instantly stood up, jumping into doctor mode. Anya just shrugged and gave an awkward chuckle, "I've probably got whatever Sage has. I ended up outside last night, too," the girl giggled quietly. She didn't care too much if it was happening to her, she could deal with it if she stayed warm enough. She was just worried about Sage because he wasn't in such great shape right then. The doctor did look a little skeptical, but gave her some sort of medication anyway, just to ward off anything nasty. "Have you heard anything about Charlotte's parents? She must be missing them," she murmured before furrowing her brows. The man just shook his head and went to sit down again, sharing a concerned look with Anya before she wandered back to her room to collapse on her bed. She didn't care that it wasn't quite all cleaned up yet... it was better than it was, and it'd be nice to sit in her bed for a while.

Sage was asleep for a while, and luckily when he woke up it wasn't from some awful nightmare but because Charlotte shifted around a bit as she woke up. She noticed him awake and murmured a sleepy hello before yawning and turning over to curl up against his chest, taking a hold of his shirt absentmindedly and closing her eyes again. He smiled softly and reached over to pull the blanket up over the two of them, since he hadn't earlier, and closed his own eyes again. He was pretty much out for the rest of the day, and when Charlotte woke up around dinner time, he was boiling hot again so she slipped out from his hold quietly and wandered around to find the doctor, tugging on his sleeve to ask him some questions if he wasn't too busy.

The doctor sat still in his chair, just... scribbling away. Some of it was probably working, and the rest of it was likely to be random scribbles of boredom. When he felt something tugging on his arm, he looked down to see Charlotte at his side. He offered a small smile and patted the chair next to him, signaling for the girl to hop up. He'd always tried to be a little more friendly to the younger family members... make things in the doctors a little less scary. "What's up?" He asked lightly, closing his little notebook. "You need anything?"

Charlotte crawled up onto the chair and sat down with a huff of air. "Should I wake him up to eat or let him sleep," she half whined. She crossed her arms and pouted slightly, looking at the doctor in a way only a little girl can. "He's stubborn," she huffed. She was, obviously, talking about Sage..and while it could be confusing for some people to figure out what she was talking about, the doctor was a smart enough man to know. Besides, he was well aware of Sage's condition and would have to check up on all his patients soon anyway.

The man gave a very small chuckle before shaking his head. "I've been hearing that he's stubborn," he murmured in a slightly more amused tone. He knew firsthand that the boy could be pretty stubborn... or, maybe a nicer way to put it would be to say he was strong-willed, but he wasn't trying to be nice about it. Even when he was trying to knock the boy out he'd always be trying to fight it. "I'd just let him sleep. He's probably exhausted from the last few days. Why'd you ask?" He quickly glanced the girl over to make sure she wasn't hurting herself... She was a bit like Anya, in a way, just a bit more... upfront. If something was wrong, she was likely to put herself last.
