The two walked into the lobby, Jaden's arm around her waist drawing a few looks. One woman came up, tesion forming between her and Jaden. "Silvia," He murmured, the woman replying. "Jaden, didn't expect you to still be racing. Thought you would've realized your dreams were far behind, besides us. We were something, y'know?" The man shifted awkwardly, shaking his head. "Not really, now if you'll excuse me, I have more important matters to tend to besides wasting my time." He mused, pulling Charlotte away from the woman who had a look of shock on her face. |

Charlotte shifted uncomfortably, walking away with Jaden. "Who was that? Your Ex?" She questioned, locling gazes with him. She looked over back at the woman, now chatting with another group of other gals, all looking rich and snobby, as she gestured towards the pair and everyone laughed. Charlotte looked back at Jaden. "What's her deal? Unless you don't wanna talk about it." She nervously fidgited with the horseshoe necklace around her neck. |

"Yeah, didn't think i'd see her." He murmured, a nasty look on her face. "We had a falling out, now she thinks she's way better than me." |

"Even m'y horse is probably better than her." She mused. She grabbed his hand and went to find a table with him to set her stuff down on. |

He snorted at that, chuckling as they went and were served a table in the dining hall, all the other members filing in and filling their table. Jaden's trainer, Loki's owner, the manager, and stable hands. The founder of the event went to the stage, grabbing the microphone and starting to speak. |

Charlotte sat right next to Jaden on the end as the founder of the event went to speak. She rubbed Jaden's back with one hand, and listened to the speech about the jockeys and the races and other stuff. |

Jaden didn't volunteer to go speak, for he had nothing to say besides 'as of now, I hate each and every one of you and wish nothing apon you besides failure' but of course, you can't just say that to people's faces. So, he stayed quiet. |

Charlotte listened to everyone speak and noticed Jaden didn't go up. She continued to rub his back. She felt him tense up as she heard a sweet farmilliar female voice start talking on stage. It was her. Charlotte stopped and tensed up alwell. |
