Gale still chuckled as he walked up to a old spruce tree, grabbing the higher branch and pulling himself into the tree, climbing higher. He broke off a branch of the tree, peeling the bark off before peeling the stick as well with his knife.Boredom struck,Kyro was nowhere to be seen, his sister was kinda weird, and he'd survived hell.

Kayla stood, glancing around for what had made the sound of branches breaking

Gale stood on the wide branch, the wind slight but not by far.He looked at the camp, stretching in about four acres of land.He took his knife out again, hacking away at some of the branches around him, creating a small bubble.Without warning,Gale tossed the logs down, them landing with a thud, followed by a lighter thud.Which was Gale landing. He picked up the logs, stuffing them under his arms as he carried them over to the fireplace, loading them onto a small cart hauled by one horse, giving the horse a pat on the rump to signal a walk on.Gale continued, walking back to his tent and grabbing his bow and a few arrows, glancing around to see if anybody was watching. With that he broke into a jog, going down a hill far beyond the camp.

Kayla shook her head, feeling like an idiot, and walked back to his tent. She walked in and sat down where she had last night, closing her eyes and slowly drifting into sleep

Gale broke out of the underbrush into a large open field, him continuing to run as he stopped on a dock, getting a start before jumping in,letting water run cool over his skin.He scrubbed the grime away, his face becoming alive as well as trying to get the dirt, blood, and sweat off aswell. He attempted his hair, getting most of it out but only leaving a few tangles.Gale's face now looked as it used to,carved out of stone. Not a pile of dirt, but more of a statue.Eventually he got out, grabbing his bow and wringing a ducks neck before heading back. When he arrived he was spotless,(besides the hair)and felt good now.He tossed the duck down by the kitchens, heading back to his tent to see Kayla.Gale stopped in the threshold, setting his bow and quivvel down before walking back out, wiping a ocean of sweat off his forehead and chest.

Kayla woke, hearing Gale. She watched him curiously and spoke to him. "Have a fun little adventure?" She asked teasingly, smiling softly

|

|
"Yeah,i'll have to take you there sometime.." He says as he walked out.Gale walked back in. "Why my tent? You could have your own.A entire cot to yourself, not the floor." he says, exiting into the dirt covered area. Gale poked his head back in. "So are you coming to the tavern tonight?"

Kayla thought for a moment. "Sure, i'll come." She said, smiling a bit. She stood and followed him, curious about the place he called home

"Good, you'll see my ability to chug beer after beer." He says over his shoulder, continuing to walk.He swerved directions, heading into a large tent with some parts being wood.Gale walked in,eyeing a case, buried. The case was detailed, every itsy mark hand carved. He opened it carefully,a black bow with the pattern of snakskin and gold details reigned on it,Gale grinning. He put it back in the case, burying it again and pulling two knives into his pocket before heading out to the small crowd near the ashy remains of a fire.He walked up to Hugh, placing a hand on his shoulder and squeezing it harder every second until he noticed. "When we hitting up the tavern?" Gale asks, letting his hand come to rest. "Half till sunset." Hugh responded gruffly,Gale nodding his head and walking back to the old spruce from earlier. He looped his hands along the branch pulling himself higher until he was almost to the top,in the hole he had cut out.

Kayla watched him climb, not enjoying climbing herself, and sat at the base of the tree
