Aaron Pirla -♡- Aaron spent hours trying to coax Adrien from the attic. With absolutely no luck. Eventually, she just gave up, instead making him some hot chocolate and setting it on the attic steps for him... She really messed up. She shuffled back to the couch, noticing her phone lying on it. Oh... she hadn't called Nick back... maybe he was still awake? Aaron gripped her phone tightly, staring at Nick's contact before tapping it and tapping the 'call' button. She waited silently. And was sent to voicemail. She frowned. Of course... The voicemail message beeped and she sighed. "'m sorry for what Adrien did.... and I'm sorry I hung up... call me back when you can. Okay... love you... bye." She mumbled to the voicemail, hanging up after. She pulled her knees to her chest and buried her face in them. This evening was.... was shit. Absolute shit. She choked out a quiet sob into her knees. She hurt her brother and her best friend... Stupid stupid stupid... |

Nick woke the next morning, and just stayed in bed, letting himself rot away under the sheets. He didn't check his phone, actually he was avoiding it. He didn't want to see all the apology texts from Aaron for not calling him back. He didn't want to see the angry texts from Adrien. He just wanted to forget all of it. But he couldn't so the next best thing was to mope around, avoiding the problem. |

Aaron Pirla -♡- Aaron stared at her phone, curled up on the couch. She was just sitting on the thread message, waiting for Nick to see her messages. She heard the door unlocking and quickly scrambled up. She knew it was Dad and she did not want him to see her right now. She hurried up the stairs, hesitating by the attic stairs but quickly ignoring them and going over to her room. She dipped inside and closed the door behind her. She sank down it, then texted her boss. -I'll be out today. Sick.- Short and sweet. Or... not sweet? Aaron set her head against the door and just waited. Adrien hadn't eaten anything that Aaron gave him and she just-... didn't know what to do. Her brother and her best friend were just not speaking. With each other or her... Everything went wrong... Except, a gear turned in her head and she looked at her phone. Adrien liked Nick... Nick liked Adrien... Adrien knew Nick liked him... But Nick didn't know Adrien liked him... Aaron scrambled for her phone, fumbling with the small device as she spammed the call button, anxiously waiting for Nick to pick up. She would call him however many times she had to. |

Nick just stayed in bed rotting away until his phone started to ring. He let his phone go to voicemail four or five times before he grew tired of his ringtone. Nick groaned and rolled over, snatching his phone from his bedside table. He checked the contact before he answered it. Aaron. Great. So much for avoiding the problem. Nick answered the phone, putting it on speaker again. "...what?" he asked dully, his voice hoarse from crying all last night. |

Aaron Pirla -♡- Aaron hesitated when she heard Nicks's voice. "... Are you mad at me?" She asked him quietly, frowning slightly as she heard him. ~~ Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien curled up on the green couch. The attic felt cramped, he felt lonely, and he just... felt bad. Adrien curled further into himself, ignoring his phone buzzing with another message from Aaron. He ignored it. One part of his brain begged him to answer the phone, another begged him to go see Nick, but most of his brain told him to stay here and rot like the scum he was... And of course, he listened to the last one. He closed his eyes silently. Adrien felt horrible. And the stinging feeling of Nicholas' lips on his was burned into his mind... And practically haunting him... He had never just wanted to die more then right now. |

"No, I'm just..." he paused, running a hand over his face and sighed. He wasn't particularlly mad with anyone, but he was definitely upset. "... No, I'm not mad at you." he finished after a couple seconds. "Whats up?" he asked, looking over at the phone. |

Nick grumbled quietly, too faint for the phone to pick up. What did she need to tell him? That Adrien hated him? That he never wanted to see him again? "Mhm..." he hummed, looking back up at his ceiling. |

Nick sighed sadly. As much as he'd like to believe that, Nick couldn't. If Adrien liked him he wouldn'tve brushed off the kiss like it was nothing. If Adrien liked him, Adrien probably would've texted him by now. "...Aaron, as much as I want to believe you, I highly doubt that he likes me back." he said sadly. |
