She gave a slow nod then looked back at Cade. "I'm not used to these things... sorry" she scooted back to the wall, grateful that she wasn't touching Cade anymore. She patted the large space beside her, inviting him to sit against the wall with her. She pulled her arm back into her lap then pulled the, away when Rascal curled into her lap. She had obviously imprinted on him.

"Don't be, It's normal to be scared, especily since this is all new for you." Cade took her invitaition and sat next her, leaning against the wall. He smiled when Rascal curled into her lap, obviously comfortable.

She looked straight ahead. Her eyes dropped a little. She could go days or even weeks without sleep. She had been on a two and a half week streak without a single wink of sleep. She hadn't even been able to sleep the night before because she wasn't comfortable enough and because of Rascal. Now? Now she was relaxed and had a feeling he wouldn't come at her with a knife or try to strangle her while she slept. When Rascal finally stopped wiggling, she closed her eyes.

Cade stayed awake. It felt like an unspoken agreement, if one of them was asleep, the other one stayed awake. They were at risk in the cave and Cade didn't want anything to happen to them.

Her head stayed upright for a while, but eventually it started to tip. Once it started it didn't stop until it hit something. And that something was Cades shoulder.

Cade did his best not to flinch as Saphire's head hit his shoulder. She was clearly very tired and Cade sat there, dead still, letting her sleep on his shoulder. He began to blush, and tried to push it away, failing.

Rascal moved and Saphires head shot up. She looked down at Rascal then, after she deemed the cave safe again, she settled her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes again, drifting off almost immediately

Cade didn't want to admit it but he was tired. He gently rested his head on Saphires, before taking it off, he didn't want to overstep. He yawned and tried to stay awake.

Saphire moved her head a little, getting a bit more comfortable. After a few more minutes of a refreshing sleep, she awoke. She looked around the cave. It wasn't supposed to be dark outside but the rain and dark clouds made it look like midnight. She turned to Cade. "You can sleep now. I'm refreshed." She smiled a little then settled against the wall again, petting Rascal

Cade nodded and smiled at her gratefully. He waited for her to settle against the wall and wordlessly lay his head on her shoulder and fell asleep.
