Caden listened before smirking and said " make you ill just wait until you fall asleep and carry you to my bed and then I'll sleep on the couch " as he looks at her and said " you are in my house and I would be a gentleman if I let you sleep in my bed and also I could let you see how it is being in my job if you like " before adding " you just have to listen "

Kennedy rolled her eyes seeing his smirk "Now that you say that I will make sure I don't fall asleep so you can't carry out that plan of yours" She said while shifting to lean her chest and arms on the arm rest to look at him "Gentleman huh? I wouldn't say pinning me earlier was being a gentleman" Kennedy teased with a smirk before shrugging her shoulders "Well as long as I'm up I'll listen to whatever you have to say"

Caden looks at her and playfully said " I could have done more then kiss you but I am not that type of man and I think you liked it " as he looks at her before walking towards her and said " you really are stubborn but then i Don't mind if you are stubborn or not " as he chuckles and shakes his head before watching her

Kennedy glushed at his words and couldn't help but think of what other things he could have done before she shook her head to clear her thoughts "Stupid man putting such weird thoughts in my head" She grumbled quietly to herself before looking up at him "What makes you think I liked it? I don't think I did" She said a bit slyly as if testing him "Of course I'm stubborn, I'd be boring if I wasn't" Kennedy proclaimed with a chuckle while meeting his gaze with a smile

Caden laughs and said " there is a lot of things I could think of one you pulled me into kissing you and second you were blushing and third he didn't slap me or push me away " as he walks closer before he chuckles and said " okay I agree with you but since your in my house my rules and you sleep in my bed young lady " as he smirks again

Kennedy looked away with a sheepish smile as he started to name things off "Well... Your just mistaken because I did not like it in the slightest bit" She said with a sharp nod as if trying to mainly convince herself of that lie. At his next comment she laughed before laying on her back and getting comfortable on the couch "Oh but you see I don't like to follow rules sir, so like I said you're gonna have to make me" She challenged him with a smirk

Caden shakes his head and said " whatever " before walking towards her and picks her up and carrys her to the bedroom and said " now you stay put hear me " as he place her on the bed and turns and close the door before walking back to the couch and chuckles as he knew he won the battle with her and he through it was funny caden sat down and sighed before looking open the window

Kennedy smiled as she thought she had won the fight, so when Caden came over and picked her up she couldn't help but gasp in shock "Caden put me down!" She demanded with a stern tone as she tried to get out of his grasps but by the time she had reacted it was too late. Kennedy rolled her eyes at his last comment and grumbled to herself for a moment before kicking her shoes off. She sat on the bed for quite awhile before standing up and walking out just into the kitchen where she could see Caden "Goodnight jerk" She said to him with her arms crossed before turning back and walking into the room, where she laid on the bed in silence

Caden rolls his eyes and said " you will thank me later " before he walks out of the house and got into his car and drove off towards the bar and walks in before sighed and sat down on the chair near the bar and said " on beer please " the guy nods and walks away before caden stares ar the counter and through about the court that was coming up a complaint about a guy who pointed and shot at him but claims he didn't have a gun caden drinks the beer slowly before looking around and shakes his head

Kennedy laid in bed for quite awhile when she heard the door open then shut -He must be headed out- She thought to herself as she rolled onto her side and took a deep breathe. In that deep breathe she could smell Cadens scent all around her, which at first she wanted to get rid of but after a few moments she wrapped herself in the blanke finding comfort in it now. Kennedy let out a yawn being tired but she probably wouldn't go to sleep till she knew Caden got back home safe
