The girl managed a bit of a small smile at the boy's joke but shook her head. "You can have the bed too if you'd like... it won't do a fracture any good by sleeping on the floor," she told him gently. She was trying to be friendly... but admittedly, she wasn't doing an amazing job of it. She looked through her cupboards, which were thankfully still full of food... whoever had been here hadn't ransacked the place. "Hungry?" She called back to him after a few moments. She was going to make him eat anyway... you couldn't heal without sustenance.

Tyler knew this might upset her, but he shook his head. "I feel more comfortable sleeping in the chair, but thank you for offering." He looked at the food. "I'm guessing you are going to force me to anyway, so yes. What do you have?" Tyler asked. It wasn't that he was picky... it was that he likes knowing what he's eating

The girl furrowed her brows at him but shook her head. If he wanted to sleep in a chair, then that was fine. "At least its not a tree or hard ground," she mused lightly. And, it was better... at least he was less likely to hurt more. She looked through her cupboard before shrugging. "Everything," she mused lightly before looking back at him "What do you want?" she asked lightly.

Tyler glanced down. All this not eating was making him thin. He needed.. carbs. "Bread?" He asked with a shrug, glancing around the cabin for the first time. He tried to ignore the pain and just looked around, his breathing louder than normal but way lower than it was.

Regan shrugged before going to have a look around. "Only bread here is mouldy," she mused before shaking her head. "We have crisps if you want carbs," she murmured after a few moments... she had some bottled water in a cupboard and chucked one over to him before grabbing one for herself. She perched on the bed in the corner after a few moments, taking a deep breath. "It's warmer in here," she hummed lightly.

Tyler glanced up. "I don't really care what, I'll eat anything." He snorted. Tyler saw the bottled water flying at him a second too late and yelped as it hit him in the chest. "...thanks." He said half sarcastically, felling as if his ribs were going to die. At this moment, quite honestly, he was sure they'd lost the will to live. Tyler noticed it was quite a bit warmer in here... he wasn't sure if he liked it. He was thankful for the water, though, taking a big drink. Edited at April 8, 2023 04:08 PM by Wild Warmbloods

The girl flopped down on the bed after a few moments. "Do you not think its like... nice to not be scared that something is gonna jump at you at any moment? To have four walls?" She asked with a slightly cocked head. It had to be nice... couldn't it? She would have thought so.

He shrugged. "I'm just more used to being outside. I feel cooped up, trapped. If anything did happen to get in, we wouldn't have room to fight it safely. It would be hard to run away. Those sorts of things. I know there's a risk to being outside.... I just prefer it." Tyler explained, leaning back in the chair with his eyes closed

The girl just cocked her head at him. "Well nothing is getting in unless it chases us in... and even then we have a door that locks. What if there's a storm? At least there's a roof over our heads," she promoted lightly before sighing... she felt safer, at least... well, she wasn't dead yet so it had to be working somehow. "Once you're all better you can go and do whatever you want... I don't really care," she then sighed, though to be honest she'd enjoyed talking to a human that didn't want to kill her... it was nice.

Tyler's heart tried to sink and float at the same time as he thought about being alone again. He wouldn't have anyone to talk to... and to be honest Regan was nice to have around. Buuut... he would regain his hearing and not have to worry about another human... or making another human mad. Tyler sighed as the thoughts whirled around in his mind. He soon fell asleep, though, considering he was tired and in the most comfy chair of his life
