[Camron woke from his lighter sleep as the storm caused a tree to shake loudly. He rolled from his side to his back before covering his face with a pillow. After a moment he sat up. -Why can't I just sleep away one horrible feeling once!- he fell back ageist the bed slightly annoyed but happy he felt better than earlier. As the noise from the storm continued he covered his ears with the pillow, tired.]

Mal pulled his legs up to his chest, careful to not hit his other arm, and stared towards the window. The storm outside seemed pretty bad and was possibly going to get worst it seemed. He stayed sitting in his bed with he legs up against him, making him seem like a scared puppy. Mal had convinced himself during the last storm that his fear was childish until he found that it was an actual fear someone could have. Usually when a storm came he would stay with someone that was awake, but since it was almost midnight he doubted anyone was up. -Would Camron be up- he thinks now staring at the wall, -it's a possibility..-

[Camron gave up after a while. He was too much of a light sleeper to be able to fall asleep with the sound to the storm. After a while he just laid there not knowing what to do, there was nothing to do. Camron sat up deciding to read, he got up and grabbed a book before sitting back down on the bed.]

Another crack of thunder came from outside along with a bright flash of lightning that lit up Malcolm's room. He jumped nearly out of his skin seeing and hearing the storm grow worst. He knew his parents were heavy sleepers so they wouldn't be up. -Might as well try Camron- he thinks and starts to get out of bed and head towards the door. Another crash of thunder came from outside which made him move faster. He opened his door quickly before closing it, kind of quietly. Mal then knocked on Camron's door quickly and loud, just to make sure that he heard him.

[Camron jumped slightly at the sound of the knocking. After a quick moment he got up and walked over to open the door, "Hel- Malcolm? What are you doing awake-?" He questioned. "It's quite late.."]

"Yeah I know," he says feeling how heavy his eyes were, "I just can't sleep. Um.." He was trying to find the best way to explain it when a large crash of thunder came and made him visibly jump. "Can I just crash with you tonight," he asks quickly.

[Camron stared at Malcolm for a moment, "yeah sure?" he moved out of the doorway gesturing for Malcolm to come in and shut it once he was in, "Are you okay-?" he questioned.]

He walked in, giving Camron a small nod as a thank you, and went over to the bed and sat down. "Well you see," he says and jumps again as another flash of lighting was followed by another crash of thunder, "I have astraphobia which is the fear of storms. I am fine with small storms but anything this big makes me jump out of my skin and prevents me from sleeping."

["oh.. makes sense." He walked over and grabbed the book laying on the bed before shutting it and setting on a bedside table. Camron sat down next to Malcolm with a light flinch to a crack of lightning. "Do you want to talk about what about it makes you scared or do you want to try to sleep?" Camron stood with his hands together in his lap. He didn't really know what to say.]

He jumped at the new flash of lightning and crash of thunder before nodding. "It would be better for you to know why I'm scared of it," he says. Mal hesitated before continuing and says, "When I was around 4 I went on a small trip with my cousins and my aunt. We went to what we thought was a nice, scenic town to hang out for the day, but it wasn't... One of the nights we were there the town was raided and my aunt was injured. She survived thankfully but ever since then the sounds of thunder and flashes of lightning remind me of the gunshots and flashes of fire."
