Jacob said " why can't I just come in to court on that day" police said " I don't know man but your under arrest as I said so say your goodbye now"

"Uhggg! No, he's not leaving!" Dakota would find a way to get the money. The police took Jacob. Dakota started to cry. She waved and watched him leave. She grabbed her keys and drove to court.

Jacob sat in the jail cell and waited for the court to start

Dakota was so mad. She got out of the car and walked into court. Jacob was standing in there. Dakota ran up and hugged him. She stood next to him as the protest started. The judge asked Dakota and Jacob many questions. Dakota had to answer. The judge said, "So, how did Jacob's dad get injured?" "My horse was trying to protect me, and she kicked him really hard and he fell down stairs in our barn. His dad was trying to kill me, and my horse was only protecting me. Jacob never did anything to him. So I don't get why he's here right now." Dakota shook her head and sighed. "Is this true Jacob?" The judge asked. The judge saw the scar on Dakota's neck from the knife. She mostly belived them. She didn't think Jacob would do that.

Jacob said " yes sir he did this before but to my mom" Jacob was scared he knew his dad would figure something else out dad watches them and his lawyer stranded up and said " I object this "

Dakota turned to his lawyer. "What? He never did anything!" Dakota said. "What does this mean?" Dakota asked the judge. She turned to Jacob. She was so sad. Tears welled up in her eyes. She thought about their kids not having a dad. She closed her eyes and sighed.

The judge said " well we will have another court but he would be in jail until then " Jacob put his arm around her and said " you go home and tell my family they will help you"

"I'm done. It's over." Dakota ran out of court and walked home.

Months passed and Dakota had the twins. The boy's name was Zion. He had wavy black hair and emerald green eyes. Arden was the girl. She had blonde hair with hazel eyes. It was so hard on Dakota. She was outside feeding the horses. The twins were sleeping inside. She came out and saw Jacob step out of the police car. The officer came up to Dakota and told her Jacob had been released. Dakota stood there in shock. "Jacob! You have to go look inside!" She smiled and walked in with him.
