"thats great." Sam said. he had never had a brother or sister figure in his life, it had mostly just been him and his Dad, with random great aunts he didnt know sending wads of cash for Cristmas. Sam want happy with his life at home with his reserved family, and that was why he had turned to horses and staying at other people's yards.

"Mhm," She agreed lightly with a smile, "My real big brother is an idiot, so it's a nice break," She said with a small laugh. In a second she had hopped the fence and was standing by the small swarm of horses who were surrounding the boxes, watching them try and shew the other horses away, "I think you and my brother would get along though," She said teasingly with a wink.

"hmm, and what makes you think that?" Sam said with a cheeky grin on his face. he went up to the fence and scratched Nero's forhead as he struggled to get a sizeable chunk of carrot out of the block of juice. "wow they are really going for it!" he sai, surprise at how much the horses loved the refreshment.

"Well, I think you both have a very similar mind set," She said, sounding like she was about to start a list, and she did, sort of, "You both are..." She paused, looking him up and down with one eyebrow slightly cocked up, "Rather idiotic." She said with a small laugh, "Though, one more than the other, but I'll keep that part to myself, and you can guess," She said with a smirk. She watched the horses with a small nod of agreement, "I think we need to get cooler water stations for them." She stated, almost to herself.

"idiotic? i think not." joked Sam. "we are both...special." he added and smiled lightly. "yeah its probably a good idea." he said in eply to Ellie's comment abot the troughs. "i can see if i can sort it..."
"Sure, special is the word." She said, giving a small chuckle at his words. "I'll order some new troughs tonight, then you can fit them, assuming you know how. " She said with a small smirk. She jumped back over the fence so that she wasn't with the horses any more, who were desperately trying to get the last bits of flavoured ice.

"i do know how, thank you very much." Sam pulled a mock offended face, ducking under the fence and grabbing the slobbery plastic pots from the grass where the hoard of hungry horses were standing. "all gone!" he said playfully as Nero desperatly gave a pot another lick, searching for a long eaten munch.

"Well I didn't know that!" She squeaked lightly with a tone of tease. She gave a small laugh as she watched Sams horse give the box a once over, letting a smile linger on her face for a while she spoke, "Yeah, and they must have liked it," she paused looking thoughtful for a moment, but no more or no less, "What did you put in them?" She questioned with a slightly tilted head.

"oh, just apple juice and fruit pretty simple really." Sam said, revealing his recipe. "i actually really love cooking, believe it or not." Sam had cooked since he was a little kid, his mother tought him until she...died. he thought bitterly, remembering the happiness and laughter that was his mother just being snuffed out, like a candle.

"Ah, I see, that's simple," She said with a nod, contemplating making some for the next day. She looked at him with a little curiosity but nodded, "Yeah, I sort of figured you'd be the type to cook," She said with a small nod and a distant smile, "I can't cook, nor bake for the life of me," She laughed quietly with a slight look of embarrassment crossing her face.
