Sage barely noticed the girls movement, though he mumbled something along the lines of "you can go to bed" before shifting into a more comfortable position and closing his eyes. There was room for Anya to stay, to sleep...in the bed he was in, with Charlotte, or an open bed. He didn't necessarily care, though she would be more of a comfort closer to him. He did know if someone came in and saw them together, it wouldn't end well. He didn't want the girl up al night worrying about him, though. She could do what she wanted to do.

Anya hummed a little when the boy told her to go to bed... she was planning on doing that anyway, so she was slightly amused by the comment. She went to sort the bed that she was previously in out, pretty much remaking it so it'd be more comfortable fir her. She was just about to jump in when she glanced back to look at Sage again. Man, she definitely mothered the boy... and it had to be annoying to him, but that was something that didn't seem likely to change. The girl stood for a moment, just contemplating whether or not to go and cuddle up to the boy. If someone came in, they'd be totally done for... but... she wanted to be there to keep an eye on him. The girl cursed herself before wandering over and slipping in next to him, instantly taking her normal form of a cuddle as she settled down.

Sage felt a smile creep onto his face when he felt the curl curl up around him again. He shifted sleepily so he was curled up against the girl and let out a kind of sleepy huff of air before he fell asleep again. He was a bit reluctant to fall asleep again, but he needed the rest, so he forced himself to get a bit of sleep. Luckily, he didn't have any more bad dreams, probably because he was in too deep of a sleep to have any dreams at all. He woke up briefly in the morning, from the cold, though he was sweaty. He frowned slightly and curled up into Anya a bit more, trying to get as much warmth from the girl as possible. It wasn't super cold out, so he briefly wondered why he was so cold before he fell back asleep, though it was a feverish sort of sleep this time.

Anya did struggle to get back to sleep for tge rest of the night... she wasn't sure why, because Sage was sleeping soundly, but she was content just to lay there anyway. When she did manage to sleep, she woke up again shortly after, but it wasn't because it was cold or any thing, but because the boy beside her was boiling. Yet, when she struggled away from him, he just cuddled in closer. She sighed slightly and glanced out the window behind them... it was bright out, but even though the weather was starting to warm up again, it wasn't overly hot. Maybe coming straight into the warm after being in near to freezing weather that night wasn't the smartest idea, either. The girl sighed and placed the back of her hand to Sage's forehead, only to find he was burning up. "Sage," she whispered gently, so not to wake Charlotte a few beds over. "Do you feel okay?"

Sage heard Anyas voice, though it pretty much just pounded in his head, so he groaned and buried his head into her neck. He was still really only half awake, and he didn't want to wake up, not yet. He really didn't feel great, though his response was telling Anya all she needed to know....the girl was smart, she'd figure it out. He wasn't willing to wake up, and while he definitely couldn't afford to be sick, here he was. He definitely shouldn't have run off last night, though he wasn't really in control, and he knew he couldn't have stayed inside even if he'd tried. He blamed himself more than he should, he knew that, but whatever. He really just wanted to sleep.

The girl gave a gentle sigh when he just cuddled in closer. He was boiling, and she wanted to pull away from him, but couldn't quite bring herself to do it... he wasn't very well, at all, but he was still seeking warmth from the girl, even though he was pretty much-sweating buckets. Anya sighed again and pulled away from him again, slipping out of the bed and going to get another duvet for the boy... he was sleepy, and she didn't want to wake him up too much if he was ill. Maybe she should get him something to drink, too... or something hot to eat. Whenever the doctor woke up, the girl would go and get him to have a look at Sage... again... man, the guy must have been bored of seeing the boy.

Sage made a whimper of protest when he felt the girl move away from him, though he quickly settled back down when she put another blanket on him. It helped, though he still felt cold. He opened up his eyes for a moment to glance around the room and look at the sun coming in through the windows before groaning and closing his eyes again, flipping his arm over his eyes and burying himself under the blankets again. Well, he hadn't expected this, but at least he was here and not out in the slums somewhere. Though, the doctor might just give up on him at this point.

Anya looked at the boy with slightly furrowed brows as he settled back down again. This wasn't what the boy needed. In truth, it wasn't what anyone needed, at all. Maybe she'd go get him something warm to drink... hot soup or something. The girl had no idea what to do with this kind of thing. Sage was hot to the touch, and yet he seemed to be seeking out warmth... so did he need to cool down or get something warm? Surely something warm, like a hot towel would help him. Or what if he didn't? Maybe he'd need something cooler... she had no idea. She took a glance at the clock. It was nearly eight am. The doctor should be up soon, checking in on his patients.

Sage could tell Anya was just standing there, probably unsure of what to do. He would have sat up and talked to the girl, though he just didn't feel up to it by then. Charlotte woke up and crawled over to the bed, and he only noticed when the girl out her hands on her hips and asked "are you sick?" He didn't really comprehend the girl, so he just blinked and said "what?" The young girl hugged out a breath. "You're sick," she announced in the way that only a girl of her age could announce something. "Did you go outside without a coat on? That's dumb." That one got a laugh out of Sage ...which was good that he could still laugh about things, though it did hurt his head. Charlotte didn't give him a chance to respond, as she crawled into the bed and patted his head. "Go back to sleep and don't die." Sage chuckled again and gave Anya an amused look before settling back down.

A slightly amused look did slick across the girl's face when little Charlotte told the boy off... she was a bossy little kid, but she meant well, she really did. Once the boy had settled back down again, Anya perched back on the edge of the bed, gently patting Sage's leg. "Do you need me to get you anything?" she asked, though she did make sure he was still awake first. The girl did get a slight glare from Charlotte as she spoke, which was probably because she'd just told the boy to get back to sleep. Anya wrinkled her nose and stuck her tongue out at the girl playfully, to which Charlotte just curled up into the boy's neck with a smug smirk. "He's my friend too!" Anya complained with a childish pout.
