Despite all the doubts in his mind, sage drifted downwards slightly so he could wrap his arms around ivy tightly when she moved towards him. A smile formed on his face then...the first once since the nightmare days prior. "Hey, baby girl," he noted softly, pecking her head. "Did you have a good time with Rosalie?"

Sage chuckled softly and pressed a kiss to her head again, before setting her down again. "Good," he hummed. "Are you all packed and ready to go," he asked, nodding when she said she was. "Alright, go say bye to Rosalie then," he murmured, shooing the girl off to do so.

Ivy nodded, darting off to get her bag and hug Rosalie tight. Remy thanked her and took Ivys hand. Rosalie waved them goodbye as they swam off to their home.

Sage watched ivy swim around, thanking Rosalie and waving before following Remy and ivy back out of the cave. Ivy had warmed his heart a little bit ...he'd missed her, a lot, but now he was thinking about he and Remy again.

They arrived at their home and Ivy zoomed over to go play with her toys.

Sage just settled down on a sand bank that sort of served as their couch and watched ivy happily settle back in.

Remy smiled, playing with her. Soon enough it was bedtime and Remy put her down to sleep before moving to the corner of their common area and sat. He silently undressed the wounds tenderly, treated them and rewrapped them carefully. They were pretty bad this time...

Sage didn't move for much of the night, just watching ivy and trying not to think about....well, anything else. It wasn't easy. Once ivy was asleep though, he slowly got up and moved over closer to Remy, watching him silently. "Those are my fault, aren't they," he asked quietly.
