Nate smiled and rolled his eyes, getting up too. Since she stole his, he remained shirtless, but he picked up her top and looped it through his belt loop on his hip on his jeans before mounting Jackie.

Dakota just walked until she heard the baby monitor go off. Something wasn't right. It wasn't Hunter crying. She looked around the small frame, pulling Secret to a stop. A shillouette of a large man crossed the frame and the monitor went black. "Shit!" She muttered, tossing the monitor in her saddle bag and spurring Secret to a gallop. "Someone's at the house." Nate kicked Jackie up into a gallop without a second thought. Someone was trying to hurt or take his baby, that wasnt going to happen on his watch.

Dakota took off sprinting as soon as she was off of Secret and shoved her into the barn. She grabbed a spare pistol from on top of the safe in the barn's tackroom, cautiously running into the house. She saw the figure move, flashing in front of her before she turned and ran to the nursery. The crib was empty. "Nate!" She called, voice cracking a little at the sight
