Sage barely noticed that the girl was even there, and he definitely didn't stop to think that maybe he should turn to her or say anything. Not that he could, but he felt like he was on some kind of roller coaster ride....his head was still spinning and pounding, and he felt like a fog was over everything. His gaze was blank, though he was sure his face was open at the moment. He was slowing down more now, too, a hitch in his breath that definitely didn't sound good. But he didn't really care....he just needed to get that...other Lizzie out of his brain, out and away from him. But other memories were coming back now too, and those didn't really help. When a certain flashback hit, he scrunched his face up and kind of staggered to the side, a type a whimper coming from somewhere inside him. He hadn't been this bad in a long time....and he didn't know if that was good or bad.

The girl hunched over as she tried to get her breath back... she wasn't sure why she was so out of breath, but she dodn't think about that all too much. "Sage, hang on a minute," she breathed before glancing up, unsure if she had been loud enough for him to hear. The boy seemed to be in some kind of frenzy... like he couldn't see or hear. Or feel for that matter. Surely his wounds should be hurting pretty bad. His stitched were new and he was no where near healed... even rolling over to look at her seemed pike it'd caused the boy pain. When her eyes landed on where he'd stopped, she only came to realise he was gone again. God... maybe she should leave him whenever he was ready the bot would make his way back. If he was sleep walking, she'd heard that it was bad to wale him up.

Sage eventually couldn't keep going anymore, even though he wanted to, but his body kind of just gave up on him and he collapsed against a tree. He slowly sank down to the ground, trying to breathe and failing pretty badly, since apparently his lungs weren't happy with him. It didn't help that he had been sweating, and that combined with the chill of winter was taking its toll on him. He barely even noticed that though...all he could see was things he really didn't want to see. He needed Anya, he did, he just didn't think about it at the time.

Eventually, Anya decided to keep on going. If the boy was sleep walking, then maybe she'd be smart to keep an eye on him. Even if he wasn't, she needed to make sure the boy didn't get himself hurt. She did lose him for a little while, but when she'd found him again the boy was slumped in a pile next to a tree. He would probably have been cold, and in pain, even if he didn't realise... and that would probably make him sick. His immune system would be over ran with issues and he'd either just get even worse or find himself dead. She slowly walked over to him and kind of kneeled down in front of him, "are you alright," the girl whispered, though she wasn't sure if he'd actually hear her.

Sage heard her, though he didn't really register it was the girl who was talking to him. After a moment he kind of turned his head to look at her, though he seemed to stare through her at something else...someone else. If course, there wasn't really anyone there, but he was having a hard time telling what was real and what was memory. He cringed away from her at first, though after a brief scuttle of panic he recognized the girl and just kind of collapsed into her, shaking and tired but unable to calm down. He was still trying hard to breathe, and he was sure the extent to which he'd overworked his injured lung was keeping him from drawing in the kind of air he needed...it probably wasn't helping his head at all, and if he'd had anything else in his stomach he definitely would have thrown that up, too.

A slight look of shock passed Anya's face as the boy collapsed into her... she didn't have a single clue what was happening, but she instinctively wrapped an arm around his back. He was an a complete frenzy... his breathing was harsh and hitching, and he was shaking, so much. Despite some if the situations she'd been in with the boy, she didn't think she'd ever seen him like this... so... defenceless. He didn't look at all like he had any control over what was going on, and she was truly scared for him. The girl stayed quiet for a long while, trying to think of a way to calm him, to figure out what'd happened. "Hey, it's ok," the girl whispered gently, her hand running along the back of his neck softly. She had the urge to tell him to try and breath, to calm down, but he was clearly trying, and that wouldn't help. "I'm here, you're alright," she noted quietly, desperately trying to sound comforting, despite her clear worry.

Her voice kind of swirled around his head, and while he didn't really understand what exactly she was saying, he knew the girl well enough to guess that she was just being comforting. Trying to calm him down a bit. He could tell she was worried...the fact that she'd followed him all this way only proved that...he was trying to calm down and take a deep breath, he really was, but eventually his jerky breathing led to coughing, and the cold air just seemed to make things worse. He really should go somewhere warm, but he didn't think he could get up and walk anywhere...he'd just pushed himself way past his body's limits, and he supposed he was....paying the price in a way. He just kind of curled up against the girl and squeezed his eyes shut, desperately trying to get oxygen into his body at least enough to try and clear his head, but it was really only getting worse.

The girl sighed a little, just holding onto the boy as he shook in her arms. It was freezing out, and it wasn't likely to be too good for Sage. Her heart was going ever so slightly, almost nervous to find out why he was in such a mess. And she didn't know how to deal with it. The girl herself was wrapped up in a blanket, one she'd dragged with her in tiredness when she left the ward. The girl gave a slight huff before pulling it off her shoulders and wrapping it around Sage, hoping it'd do... something. The girl slowed her own breathing a little, hoping that the boy would use it to steady his own a little.

Sage barely noticed the blanket go around him until it was easier to draw a breath in once the air around him warmed up a bit. It wasn't easy, but it was much easier than before, and it did seem to be getting better. Once he'd warmed up a bit, he was able to forcefully slow his breathing down...he still felt like he wasn't getting enough air, but once he'd calmed down a bit it was less of an issue. Once he'd gotten enough breath to wheeze out an apology he did so, not having wanted to wake the girl up and drag her off on some wild goose chase while scaring her so much. He was incredibly thankful she had though, or who knows what would have happened.

Anya gave a gentle sigh when the boy apologised and shook her head. She didn't want him to apologise... she wanted him to breath, and be alright. She held him for a short while, though there was still a look of worry on her face. "Don't be sorry," she whispered quietly before shifting a little to get more comfortable. She waited a little for him to calm down a little more, make sure he was actually stable before questioning quietly, "do you want to talk about it," she murmured, though her voice was still very quiet... almost hesitant to talk.
