Celeste eventually calmed down after a little.

Celeste nodded, still clinging onto him.

"Good," he hummed lightly. "You're a perfect wife and mother. Don't ever let yourself believe otherwise," he added

Celeste shook her head. "I'm no where near perfect..."

Sage snorted and shook his head. "Perfect is an impossible standard," he noted. "Which means if the idea of perfect is unachievable, true perfect has to allow for a few things. You're perfect to us," he added simply

Celeste didn't respond to that one, she just stayed in his embrace. She was so far from a good mom... so far from perfect.

Sage knew she didn't believe him....but when she'd said he was worth it he hadn't believed her either. He'd come around to it, so he knew she'd also come around. It would just take time.
