Lorelei cried until the water got cold, and even then she cried. She finally pulled herself out of the shower and wrapped herself in a towel, cold, shivering, her lips blue. She managed to get dressed and curl up in bed, checking her phone every two minutes to see if he texted as she continued to cry.

Kai quit crying after a while, texting her. Can I come over?

Lorelei jumped when she heard her phone ping. -Yeah- she quickly sent back, still crying.

Kai went to her house, eyes still red, and let himself in. He found her and crushed her to his chest, likely not very gentle, and kissed her. He didn't know why, she'd just told him off basically for kissing him. What are you doing?! He thought, panicking a moment

Lorelei froze for a moment, but soon just melted into him, wrapping her arms around him, weaving her fingers into his hair and kissing him.

Kai kissed her deeper, sighing a bit once he finally broke away. "I'm sorry I left. I'm so sorry. God, I've wanted to do that since I first saw you, I really have. I was gone for a couple hours and my world fell apart."

"I love you," she whispered.

"I love you too" He breathed softly, kissing her again

Lorelei kissed him back harder.

Kai broke away, clutching her close. "I shouldn't have left. I should have waited for you to come out. I'm sorry." He said quickly, forehead pressed against hers
