Finnegan Larson - Finn grinned with half-lidded eyes. "Of course, sunshine..." he snickered. "...and what would be worth your while, darling?"

Sera's gaze flickered over Finn, her lips curling into a small smile, though her eyes were sharp, measuring him with an intensity that was both playful and calculating. She leaned in just a fraction closer, her voice low and steady. "Oh, Finn," she said, her tone dripping with teasing warmth, "you really think I'd make it that easy for you?" Her fingers brushed lightly against the edge of his sleeve, an almost imperceptible touch that was more for effect than anything else. She could feel the weight of his smirk, but she was unphased, her expression remaining cool, as if she held the upper hand. "Don't worry," she continued, the smile never leaving her face, "I'll find a way to make it worth your while... in time."

Finnegan Larson - Finn smirked, one hand drifting down her side and the other gently sweeping away a loose lock of her hair. "What do you mean, sunshine?" he teased with a smirk.

Sera's eyes gleamed with a playful glint as she leaned back, a slow smile curving her lips. Her fingers brushed lightly across Finn's chest, sending a shiver down his spine. "You heard me," she teased, her voice soft yet teasing, each word dripping with challenge. "You’ve got to earn it." Her gaze flicked up to his, daring him to rise to the occasion. She stepped back a little, her eyes still holding that mischievous sparkle. "I don’t give things away that easily." Her words hung in the air, a silent invitation, an unspoken promise. But then, her playful mood shifted just slightly, and she sighed with a dramatic roll of her eyes. The corner of her mouth twitched into a half-smile as she glanced towards the door. "But..." she began, her voice shifting to something more matter-of-fact, "we should get up. The bell for the morning session rang a while ago." She raised an eyebrow, her expression shifting to something more serious, though the teasing undertone never left. "Unless you want to be late... again." She added, a hint of amusement in her voice as she turned to gather her things, clearly expecting him to follow her lead.

Finnegan Larson - Finn frowned and stood up. He grabbed her from behind, holding her hips and lightly kissing her neck. "Y'know, you really shouldn't tease me like that, sunshine... I have a lot of self-control, but it doesn't last forever..." he murmured in her ear. "If you really don't wanna be late again... you better promise me I can relieve myself tonight..." he whispered.

Sera felt a shiver run down her spine at Finn's gentle touch and the warmth of his breath against her ear. It sent an intoxicating thrill through her, but his words made her heart race in a different way. She turned slightly to catch a glimpse of his serious expression, the teasing tone in his voice contrasting with the intensity in his eyes. "Finn," she started, a playful smile tugging at her lips, trying to match his mood. "You know how much I love to keep you on your toes." She leaned back against him, letting his hold anchor her but also wanting to tease him just a little more. "But I might just have to consider your request if you promise to make it worth my while." She tilted her head back to meet his gaze, searching for any hint of the playful banter they often shared. "After all, what's the fun in keeping all the self-control to yourself?" She felt bold and daring, the thrill of their connection igniting something in her. If he wanted to play this game, she was more than willing to join in, but she had her own terms too. "We both know I can be quite persuasive." With that, she turned her head to give him another teasing kiss, her heart racing at the prospect of their night ahead. She then stood up and walked out of the tent before he could tempt her to stay

Finnegan Larson - Finn chuckled as he watched her leave. He got dressed and then made his way out to the mess tent for breakfast. Finn loaded his plate with a decent-sized serving and then sat down next to Sera. "I promise... it'll be worth your while..." he murmured in her ear with a smirk. He kissed her cheek and then returned to his food. Zoya raised an eyebrow. "Oh? So are you two officially together now? And what will be 'worth your while'?" Zoya asked nosily. Finn shook his head, "Nothing," he mumbled. Zoya turned to Sera and raised an eyebrow. "Well?" she asked Sera.

Sera glanced at Zoya, rolling her eyes slightly, though there was a teasing smile playing on her lips. She had a feeling Zoya was going to be relentless about this. "Don't listen to him," she said with a shrug, trying to play it cool. "Finn's just being Finn—always making things sound more mysterious than they are." She gave him a side glance, a faint blush creeping onto her cheeks despite her best efforts to stay composed. She reached for her own breakfast, trying to distract herself from the growing curiosity in Zoya’s eyes. "I wouldn’t put too much stock in whatever he says," Sera added with a small smirk, keeping her voice light. "But if you're looking for something to gossip about, I'm sure Finn will give you plenty of material." She glanced over at him, catching his smile again, and for a moment, Sera felt her heart flutter unexpectedly. This was going to be interesting...

Finnegan Larson - Finn smirked but continued to eat. He glanced at Sera, catching her glance at him, and he smiled. Zoya rolled her eyes. "Okay, love-birds, you two are about as smitten as two wild animals ready to mate. Now, tell me, what's going on?" Zoya kept poking her nose into their business.

Sera’s eyes flicked to Finn, her heart skipping a beat when she caught him looking back at her with that familiar, knowing smile. She shifted in her seat, trying to ignore the heat rising in her cheeks. Zoya’s voice cut through the moment, sharp and teasing. "Love-birds?" Sera scoffed, trying to sound casual, but she could hear the slight tremor in her voice. "We’re not—" She paused, feeling the weight of Finn’s gaze, and quickly continued, "We’re just... fine. Nothing’s going on." Sera shot her a look, though she couldn’t quite suppress the smile tugging at the corner of her lips. Damn Zoya for always making everything feel like a scene out of some ridiculous romance. She wasn’t ready for that. Not yet. "Zoya, can you just—" Sera started, but the teasing glint in Zoya’s eyes made it clear that this wasn’t over. Neither was the fact that Sera’s heart was still racing in the quiet spaces between the words.
