Matt was amused by the lack of response from Elowyn after he had given her the compliment, though he didn't push for her to say anything. Instead, figured it was better to leave her confused. He shut his door and started the car after she had gotten in, carefully making his way out the area and back onto the road. Most of the drive back was spent either in, what Matt felt was a comfortable silence or just normal, relaxed conversation. Once they had reached the restaurant, Matt sighed, catching eye of his and Elowyms parents stood a little away from the door talking. He bought the car into a parking space where they wouldn't be able to see them, stopping and turning to look at her. "Here. Give me your number" He said with a small smile, resting his head back on the headrest.

Wyn was still, likely, overthinking the whole situation by the time they got there. His compliment, for some reason, meant so much to her. She blinked in surprise as he spoke, slightly shocked when she releaized they were back. She turned to look at him, raising her eyebrows teasingly. "Oh? No please?" She mocked, taking his phone and making herself a contact. Her number, but the contact was titled ❤Beautiful. She angled the phone away from him and then gave it back, leaning slightly over the arm rest. She lightly took his chin and turned his face, holding his gaze as she leaned in further and kissed him. It was far more passionate than the last few, exaggerated because she could tell her parents were watching. She dropped her hand and set it on his upper thigh, slowly stroking her thumb over the inner portion of his leg. Her phone was going a little crazy with messages, but she ignored them, firmly.

Matt shook his head and gave Elowyn a small smile as she put her contact in, raising his eyebrows at the name. "Ha ha very funny." He said with slightly narrowed eyes, though made no move to change it, instead setting his phone down in the gap beside them, watching as his phone lit up with yet another message from his mother. He ignored it, and instead set his hand on the door handle ready to oepn it, only stopping once Elowyn tilted his chin towards her. To his surprise, she had kissed him almost straight away, and rather passionately at that. As her thumb stroked his thigh he felt the tingles surge through his body, and after a couple seconds of gaining composure he kissed her back, cupping her face with one hand and laying the other on her thigh. The kiss lasted a lot longer than the others had, and with a lot more passion, and once Matt had finally pulled away, could tell that it was much to the disgust of both of their parents. For a couple seconds Matt simply held eye contact with Elowyn, waiting for his heartbeat to slow down a little. Then, he spoke. "Good luck with your parents." He said, albeit very breathlessley, and gave her a playful nudge before getting out the car, watching as his father walked rather speedily towards them.

Wyn leaned further into him as he reciprocated her kiss, giving his thigh a gentle, grateful squeeze. She tilted her head slightly into his hand, letting her thigh press into his hand. Her eyes fluttered open as he pulled back, taking in a hard breath to recover. She simply watched him in return, lightly sliding her hand over and off his thigh. She offered him a breathless smile for the words. "Thanks. Same to you." She answered softly, chuckling at his nudge before she got out of the car. She slipped out of the passenger side, and immediately felt the dissapointment wash over her. Her mother was immediately costing her- no "Are you okay?" "What's happening?"- no, just immediately into a lecture. Wyn sagged slightly, bracing herself- and- yep- there it was. Her mother's hand cracked sharply across her face, leaving a red hand print on the same cheek Matt had been cupping less than a minute ago. Wyn simply blew out a breath and rubbed at the angry mark, listening as her mother berated her and her father stood back.

As Matt shut the door to the car, his father had as good as swiped the keys from his hand, pacing around the SUV to inspect it, an angry look on his face. Matt sighed and slipped away to the side, looking his mother in the eye. It was clear she had been quite worried about his whereabouts though she was doing her best to mask it, and instead started with what happened very time: a calm but clearly manipulative lecture. For the most part, Matt was stood there with his hands clasped behind his back, staring past his mothers shoulder, his gaze glazed over, though his attention was bought back when he heard what sounded like a snapping sound. He raised his eyebrows as he saw the rather sharp looking slap that Elowyn's mother had given her, feeling a little guilt slip through him. Whilst he hadnt outright told her mother to hit her, he still felt a little guilt from leading her down that path in the first place. Although she had seemed pretty down with it, so he overall got over the guilt pretty quickly. Matt's mother, who had been watching the small commotion looked as if she was about to open her mouth by means of retaliating for Elowyn, but after a couple seconds she just shot a glare towards the girls mother and made her way over, clasping her hands together in front of her. "I think we need to talk about these two spending any more time together." She spoke, her posh, money ridden accent pushing through. "Now or another day?" She asked, looking Elowyn up and down.

Elowyn simply blinked vacantly, receding into herself and staring at the ground at her mothers feet. Today wasn't the day to start standing up to her mother. She let her mother yell, simply holding her cheek and vaguely paying attention. Her mother kept barreling on, not catching the glare from the woman a few meters away. She only stopped ranting at her daughter when the other woman came up, clearing her throat and looking surprised. She ran a hand down her front, smoothing nonexistent wrinkles from her pantsuit and recovering herself. She cleared her throat and matched the tone, though firmer. "I'm afraid there's not much to talk about. I would love for them to keep seeing each other, but the things theyve done already prove that's not an option. I believe it's best they don't interact again." She said coolly, lacing her fingers together.

Elowyn simply glanced vaguely up at the woman, then Matt over her shoulder, and went back to staring blankly at the ground.

Matts mother raised her eyebrows at the other woman's answer, clearly unimpressed. She was the type of woman to want to talk things out properly, in an unnecessarily long conversation, and so didn't enjoy the simple short sentences waving her off. She once again looked her up and down and stepped back, turning to glance at Matt for a couple of seconds, who was leaning against the wall next to them. "Maybe not." She spoke eventually, a sarcastic, clearly fake smile pushed through on her face. "You'll have a good job keeping her away from my son at the next event then, next weekend." She said, her tongue sharp. It was clear Matts mother was irritated and a little bored, and a small smile rose to his mouth as he realised how much she was struggling to control it. "I'll see you later." She added, calling Matt back to the car, who could do nothing but follow slowly.

I was thinking- maybe the next time they meet, he texts her/she texts him and she either asks him for a ride or he offers her one- She sneaks out, they go meet his biking friends again?))

It was the next day- the start of her weekend- when her mother essentially locked her in her room. Wyn was grown- she lived on Campus. Away from this spacious, yet confining mansion. But as soon as her mother got wind of her lack of lectures- she was essentially rapunzel. Trapped in her second story room. She snuck her phone in, luckily- and gave her mother a fake. It was utterly boring, and she doubted her mother would let her out for dinner. Speaking of- it was almost 8 at that point. It was then that the idea She had been toying with all day finally culminated- or at least, she got so bored she needed to do something, even if it was stupid. So she promptly decided on a text to Matt. Simple. "Hey. Wanna hang out tonight?" Then, she deleted it- rewrote it- rewrote it again- then again- flirty, not flirty, annoying, sweet- and then smacked herself. She blew out a breath and typed something out she was probably going to regret, then sent it, tossing her phone face down on her bed. "Come get me. Bring your bike and maybe we can add a few tallies to our makeout count" It was silly, really, blushing like a schoolgirl over someone she didn't even like. She had sent far more risque texts to people she had much more stake with- why bother worrying about him? Still, she watched her phone anxiously, practically waiting for it to explode.
