Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, grinning over at the dog as he tried to figure out why there was suddenly a wiggly tiny human in his lap. "good, because she's used all my energy for now," he mused lightly, grinning when Liz seemed shocked and then delighted at the dogs lick. He entwined his finger around Ts when she reached for his hand happily, chuckling at her comment and flashing her a grin. "Well, I'll need energy for tonight, since I'm doing anything you ask me," he teased lightly before shrugging. "besides, he's sort of a guard dog and sort of a playmate, both of which lead towards babysitting for a bit," he mused, reaching over to pat the dog on the head gently.

"Mm. Fair point." T chuckled, leaning over to press a kiss against his forehead for the reminder about their planned night. She scoffed at his next comment, grinning at Lucifer as he leaned into Sage's hand, tail wagging vaguely. "My dog is so easily bought." She sighed sarcastically, scratching him behind the ears lightly.

Sage sort of just grinned up at her in response to her comment, humming lightly when she kissed his head. He chuckled when she spoke up about Lucifer and looked over at the dog happily. "we'll I think he's quite content being bought as long as he gets some love," he mused lightly. "He's a good boy," he cooed, chuckling when the dog's tail sped up slightly.

"His price is low." T scoffed, leaning back and propping herself up on her free arm. She glanced over her shoulder at the sunset, which almost done at that point. She grinned at Sage's words, turning her gaze back to him and nodding lightly. "He's the best boy." She smiled.

Sage chuckled lightly and hummed in thought. "I dunno, you can't underprice actual love," he noted with a sort of a shrug. Then he grinned and nodded in agreement. "He definitely is," he chuckled when he noticed Liz had started to doze off, laying against the dogs side. "He practically put her to sleep himself, lokk at that," he mused, deciding to leave the girl there. She was warm and cozy and safe, so why disrupt her? Lucifer wasn't going anywhere.

"I suppose. Then again, everyone loves him." T chuckled, gently removed her legs from under the dog as Liz began to doze off. Lucifer simply sat there, docile, allowing the little girl to use him as a pillow. "He's like a miracle nanny." She chuckled, shifting toward him and settling at his side now that she was free to move. She pressed her lips lightly against his cheek, then set her face lightly in the crook of his neck, taking in a deep breath.

Sage chuckled softly and then nodded. "I don't know who wouldn't love him," he mused, scooting over a bit to give her room to lay down once she'd moved. He wrapped an arm around her once she lay next to him, absentmindedly moving his hand up and down her arm. It was just nice to relax, he supposed. "He certainly is," he mused. "I've never been able to get her to sleep that quickly," he chuckled.

"People with no soul, but that's about it." T chuckled, laying down with him eagerly. She smiled as his arm curled around her, pressing a gentle kiss to his neck and then withdrawing to set her head on her shoulder, simply looking at him with a faintly adoring look in her eyes. She settled lightly into the feeling of his hand on her arm, chuckling at him. "Dogs work in mysterious ways." She smiled.

Sage sort of grunted in agreement with her first comment, resting his head lightly on hers happily once she'd settled down again. "They certainly do," he hummed lightly in response to her next comment. "But whatever he did certainly worked," he added with a sort of chuckle. "Now we just have to hope she stays that way," he added after a moment, his voice slightly more mischievous now that the topic was a bit more....nature, if you will. He had to admit he was excited though.

T chuckled, shifting to lay on her side and set her free hand on his abdomen, gently tracing the faint ridges of his muscles through his shirt. She didnt respond to his words, simply smiling at him for a moment. "Why don't you sit up, love?" She said lightly, shifting to sit up. Her tone was more of a request than a question, her head tilted at him in mock innocence. "If I recall correctly, we had plans to carry out." She teased softly.
