she had barely touvhed him and he had yelped. she immediately pushed herself out of the chair and managed to take a few small steps to stand behind the chair, clutching the handles. "sit" she commanded softly. she used the chair to lean on as she moved it closer to him.

Tyler shook his head. "You sit." He muttered, turning his gaze away towards the barn. He shakily limped away from the wall and towards the opening of the barn, staggering almost like he was drunk... but making it. He leaned up against West's stall, taking shallow, shuddering breaths. "I'm fine, really. Just a tiny itty little bit of pain in the ribs." He said, putting a hand in the stall door and dropping his head down, closing his eyes and just breathing. West stuck his head out if The stall door and nudged Tyler in the ribs.... which caused the man to leap away with a small cry of pain and just barely catch himself on a stall. "Okay, I'm not fine!" He gasped, obviously unhappy and out of breath. "It's not anyone's fault, I wasn't just being stupid and got freaked out. My ribs are probably fractured... again. Apart from that everything is FINE." He murmured, his eyelids fluttering as he tried to stay awake through the pain.

she moved to him as quickly as she could as she gripped stall bar after stall bar. she had the chair with her. "sit" she said again. this time she had a pleading look in her eyes

Tyler closed his eyes, thought for a moment, then let pain win over pride... which was difficult. He sat down in the chair heavily, wheezing. Tyler was very glad his weight was off his feet... and he would get right back up as soon as he caught his breath. He would go to his cabin, take a nap... and be as good as new. He rested for a moment, breathing shallowly. "Thanks.." he said quietly, running a hand through his hair once he felt like he could move. After that... he heaved himself back OUT of the chair and limped.. not stumbled or staggered.. but not ally limped out of the barn. "I should go rest, as you are going to say." He said quietly, facing Abby. He didn't want to wait for a reply for long... in case he collapsed. Tyler would hate to have Abby see him just.. collapse.

she swallowed. "i'm not going anwhere without you... since that happened" then she added in her head: "that's not the only reason..." she stepped closer to him. "you wanted to see me walk so now i'm going to walk with you where ever you're goin" she put on a brave face and a weak smile, but inside she was freaking out. she hoped he couldn't tell

Tyler shook his head. "I'm going to take a nap... though I am very happy you are walking. I promise I'll be fine with a little rest.. really." He offered a comforting smile, hoping she was okay with it. Tyler would love to stay and help her walk.. or watch her walk.. but he needed sleep. Or at least coffee... something to wake his dead brain up. He walked over to his cabin and entered, sitting heavily on the couch. Tyler half expected Abby to follow him... he wouldn't be against it, he would just hope he didn't traumatize her for life with that crash... his mind drifted off to the horrible day. If only he would have seen the car.. or moved... or something. This was all his fault... Abby not being able to walk well, hurting because of her pain. Tyler sighed, not caring that pain shot through him. He almost deserved it... he should have done SOMETHING instead of just sit there. He should have pressed the brakes, or floored it, or turned...

Abby watched him go. she felt defeated... she plopped back in the chair and awkwardly wheeled outside Titan's stall. she didn't want to scare him again so she stayed put. she fought the droop in her eye lids. she hadn't slept well in almost a week and it was finally taking a terrible toll on her. she lost her fight and fell asleep. she woke up after a 5 minute nap. she shook her head and attempted to stand and walk around without the chair or stall doors as braces. she stood and took a few steps before stumbling over herself and tumbling onto the hard concrete. she winced and gritted her teeth as she somewhat rolled on her side and gripped her shoulder. she didn't break it, but a huge bruise may be there later. she couldn't get back up, so she just laid her head back down on the concrete and her eyes closed without hesitation. Titan had been in his stall and when she fell, he gave a shrill whinney. the grooms thought he was just calling to one of the other horses, so they didn't budge from their work in some of the other barns. Tyler held his face in his hands until he heard a horse scream. He looked up.. realizing it was Titan. Tyler listened again.. and when he didn't hear anything... when he didn't hear Abby comforting her horse.. he jumped up and ran across the yard, looking into the barn. He had already had enough trauma for today, if Abby was hurt... he saw her lying on the floor and darted up, grabbing her and putting her back into her chair without trying to hurt her. "Abby! Are you okay?" Tyler asked worriedly, not even bothered by the screaming agony in his ribs. His whole body hurt.. what changed. He looked at her, hoping to high heaven she wasn't hurt. he just... couldn't deal with that.

"huh?" she muttered as she opened her eyes. she winced when he touched her shoulder. "i'm ok. you shouldn't be worring about me..." she softly put her hand on her bad shoulder and gave a weak, tired smile. her eyes darted closed, then opened back up just to close again. she immediately passed out from exaustion, her body leaning forward, her head on his shoulder.

Tyler's face turned into a look of panic.. then sorrow.. then Kanin again as she passed out. He didn't really care about the wheelchair right now, avoiding touching her shoulder as he scooped her up in his arms... including the one that might not heal right, staggering to his cabin. He tried not to jolt to much, laying her down in the bed gently and going to make some hot water, grinding Peppermint into it. He set it by the bed, covered her up, and sighed, going outside to get the wheelchair and bring it in. After he had done that he collapsed into the chair... falling asleep quickly as he was tired and in immense amounts of pain
