Sage wheezed out a kind of laugh when chaos pulled up next to Quinn and slid to the ground, stumbling slightly and sitting down rather hard. There was an unmistakable twinkle in his eyes though, one that hadn't been there since they played around the few days prior.

"You okay?" Quinn asked, hopping down. She offered a hand to help him up. Quinn looked around at the field where she met Sage. "Best day of my life..." she thought

Sage chuckled and nodded. "My legs are just still sore," he noted with a twinge of amusement. "it was worth it to get out and ride though," he hummed.

Quinn laughed. "Yeah, I know the feeling" she looked around at the clearing, the green grass waving in the wind.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded, leaning against a tree with a slight sigh. He was glad to be able to be out and doing things.

Quinn smiled slightly, wondering what to do next. "So, what activity that doesn't require much physical work should we do?" She asked him with a slight snort.

Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged. "I would say swimming isn't too bad, except it's a little too chilly to do that right now," he hummed with a slight shrug. "I don't know. I usually just suck it up and do my chores since I didn't have an escape like you," he chuckled.

Quinn snickered. "Well I decided going swimming is more fun than 'sucking it up and doing chores' so let's go back. I like the other river better, and for the cold I'll just make a fire. We have blankets. We will warm up eventually." She laughed, jumping on Sahara and glancing at Sage before taking off, galloping through the trees. She got to the bigger river, stopping and jumping off Sahara. Quinn then splashed Sage as he ran up. "Plus, I got you first." She said smugly, going to stand in the water and lean against Sahara, who was now drinking

Sage hummed thoughtfully and then shrugged in response to the girl's comments. He struggled to his feet and back onto chaos before sliding down next to her, making sure to splash her back as he landed in the water. "I got you back though," he chirped when he resurfaced.

Quinn held up a hand against the splash. "Wow... are you still tired? That was a pretty weak splash." She teased, crossing her arms
