Sage had a smile on his face from the moment the girl kissed him. When she pulled away the first time, he kept his face close to hers, and shivered slightly when she ran her nails down his neck. He hadn't expected that to feel so good....but then again, a few days ago, he never would have expected kissing a girl would be so nice either. He was pleasantly surprised when she kissed him again, gently tugging the girl closer when she did. He was out of breath too, when the girl finally pulled away, and he had a light blush across his face. "I take it you feel better," he hummed, lightly teasing the girl. He could feel her breath on his neck, and he had to admit he hadn't really wanted to stop. But he also knew that they hadn't been together for long, so he had no reason to expect the girl to do anything else besides a kiss here and there. He stayed close to the girl after she pulled away...he had to admit he felt safe around her, and it felt nice. He was suddenly swamped by how much he loved the girl...he never would have expected to feel this way, about anyone, but he definitely enjoyed it.

Claudia laughed, "Yes...I'm feeling much better.", she stayed close to him, her heart seeming to warm when she felt his love for her again. She wondered what it would have been like to not leave her 'home', what it would have done to her if she hadn't met this boy. She could defiantly imagine spending her life with him, he had stayed by her whenever she needed him, and she wanted most to do the same to him. Claudia chuckled, keeping her eyes on Sage but putting her head down so she was resting on the pillow. She moved closer to him, they could really do anything, without getting in trouble. Once again she brushed her hand to Sage's cheek, smiling, her eyes full of love.

Sage felt his smile grow when she said she was feeling better. Good...he wanted her to be happy, all the time. He never wanted her to be upset or sad or angry...just happy. He only wanted good things for the girl. "Good," he hummed, his voice coming out more flirty than he originally intended. Not that it was a bad thing...no doubt the girl knew what he was feeling. He felt something shoot through him when the girl moved closer and put her hand on his cheek. It felt nice ...he still wasn't used to a soft touch, or a caring one, and this was both, with love included. He knew she loved him...her eyes told the story. He wondered what she was thinking ...what she wanted. He knew she loved him, but he wanted to know more. He wanted more of her...but did she want more of him? Or was knowing what he felt for her, the intensity of his love, was that enough to satisfy her?

Claudia let out a sharp sigh, she knew what Sage wanted to know, "You want to know what Im feeling too, what I want...what I want from you.". Claudia looked away almost holding her breath, then looked back at Sage, "Your enough for me Sage, you always have been. I just...," she paused. "I just, Im afraid that I'll...not be enough, or hurt you on accident.". "I also just wish you could tell what im thinking, and feeling, it would make this conversation a whole lot easier." Claudia let out a weary laugh.

Sage cocked his head slightly when the girl started talking and was admittedly a bit surprised when she said he was enough. He'd never heard that before, from anyone...it was always the complete opposite. But...the girl seemed sincere, and it was definitely nice to hear. He smiled softly and shook his head with a chuckle. "Claudia, you're more than enough," he hummed softly. "I love you...no matter what, and you know that." He looked into her eyes, trying to be sincere, in a way different from her just reading his feelings. "Besides...it takes a lot to hurt me, and you've always been so kind and gentle....try not to worry so much."

Claudia chuckled and then smiled, "Thank you, Sage...". That meant a lot to her, she hadn't needed to tell what he was feeling because they were both feeling the exact same way. She could trust him with her life, that's how much she loved him. Claudia sat up so their faces were inches apart, she smiled before leaning in to kiss him, gently this time. She could do this practically the whole day, talking to him...and other things. He had said she was enough, more than enough even...she was loved, more loved than she had been her entire life, and that felt good.

Sage smiled and nodded when the girl thanked him, running his fingers through her hair absentmindedly. He felt his smile grow when she leaned forward to kiss him again, his heart speeding up just like it always did and a light blush creeping across his face. Man, he loves this girl. She was gentle, and kind, and he could trust her with anything. And...she always would know what he was thinking and feeling. He'd have to be careful about the flashbacks and nightmares....that was baggage for him to carry, not her...but it was nice she could do that.

Claudia smiled and laid her head on the pillow once more. She didn't know if this was the right time but she had been thinking of a question to ask Sage for a while now. "Sage, whenever you worked in the tavern...in rooms, or just in general, were there ever sweet, kind people?". She bit her lip, waiting and wanting to know the answer, she kind of wanted to ask him if he ever fell for anyone other than her...ever. Had he ever loved anyone he had gotten a room with? Claudia felt her cheeks get hot, she was embarrassed for asking herself those questions.

Sage hummed in thought and shrugged. "Most of them were drunk, so not really. Some people were nicer than others...but none of them were ever nice. Not like you've been," he mused, a thoughtful expression on his face. "But most of them were drunk, so they were rough. I never gave them much, but...they took what they wanted." He shrugged slightly and shook his head. "None of them were even close to being like you," he murmured.

"Aw." Claudia looked up at Sage and grinned. Her expression fell soon though, for a completely different reason, "You...you hunt the guy down tomorrow...don't you?". She gave him a worried look, she knew he was skilled but she didn't want him to have any chance of getting hurt. "Sage...what if I come with you. If you get hurt...then you won't have a way to contact anyone. Sage..." Claudia trailed off, looking away. "Please let me come with you." She glanced back at him, catching his eye. "I can be persuasive if you don't agree. Very persuasive indeed." Claudia gave Sage a smirk.
