What a cutie! And those little babies!! Yeah, that's crazy. Our first time mom is 4-5 years old, the breeding definitely wasn't intentional. Fence had issues, one buck was tangled in the fence (he's fine), and I guess the others decided to break free. The other doe is I think, 8(?). All of ours are either registered or have the potential to be, but I don't show them or do any milk tests for them, so no real point in registering them.

Definitely not for me. I got Tater for $80 she was Nigerian with something else for sure. Them breeding her at 5 months old is just crazy to me

Brooke, I never lost any but I never enjoyed it either lol Shame those little Nigerian dwarfs are so bad about having 3-5. My favorite girl had 6 for her new owners a year after I sold my registered herd. Yikes. I think 4 made it and she passed unfortunately. The one doe she had was infertile

Fang, We've been pretty lucky all in all. I think we've only lost 2 kids during the birthing process. We had to assist on a birthing in 2020 with quads, the 3rd was stuck, helped get her loose (she was fine), and the fourth one came super easy to the point he was almost flying out lol. I kept and wethered him, he genuinely thinks he's a dog xD

Brooke, that’s what I’ve always had and that’s what she has registered. Oo. The birthing part always makes my heart flip. Never forgot almost losing my favorite gal to a huge single buck. I did kid out a doe someone bred at 5 months on purpose last year. Thankful she was okay kidding at 10 months (she had twins
