Rowan glanced over to see the man from earlier facing her, meeting his gaze for a moment as she smirked, flicking it back to the bartender, asking for a map of the area. He gave it to her, the woman studying the map to figure out where camp was, marking it before folding it up and slipping it into her pocket, her gaze returning back to the man on numerous occasion, the liquor finally starting to take some of the edge off, yet not where she liked being. Somewhere between rounded to fuzzy edges, and to that she'd need another drink. Rowan slid another coin across the counter, getting another round as she chatted up the bartender, finding him very easy to amuse, very easy to take home if wanted. She pushed him away though, the man keeping his eye on her, meeting her gaze every so often and smirking lightly. Rowan swallowed another shot, the liquor tingling as it slid down her throat, settling in her stomach with a slight burn, warming her.

Benjamin ordered another beer, the alcohol starting to get to him as his ability to process was gone, he huffed a bit pulling out a cigar. The bartender lit Bens cigar and continued their work. Ben zoned out a bit, his thougts all over the place. He seemed bored, nothing to do he eventually turned to face her once again, "So what brings you here" his french accent strong, he took a sip of his beer as his posture relaxed. Benjamin ran his fingers through his hair, a bit of his tattoos peaking out from his shirt he had. He slouched in his chair a bit more, a small grin sliding across his face, he looked down at the ground a bit before lifting his gave up towards the girl.

-Seriously?- She thought when he turned towards her once more, letting his question hang in the air for a moment as she took another shot, noting the bartender she was done for the night. Rowan angled herself slightly towards him, paying for everything before slipping her money away once more. "Got lost, was heading back to c---my house, took a wrong turn, ended up here. Figured I could get directions, maybe stay here for the night, depends on how far I am." She noted, taking a glance at him.

Benjamin took a moment to respond, "Alright then, could always come w me" he let a small smirk come across his face, he paid the bartender before standing up. "My house is just down the road if you're interested in stopping by. Might be some fun if you do, you just never know." Benjamin didn't wait for a response, he shook his head a bit before walking out the door. Tho he left a small piece of paper, directions to where he lived. Feather whinnied as he saw the sight of Ben, he trotted up towards him. Benjamin yawned a bit before hopping up, he kisses Feather forward as they started to walk home. Once Ben got there he let Feather go roam, he walked inside the door being greeted by Lance. Benjamins house was immaculate, spotless, he headed towards the couch as he flopped down. Lance jumped up, curling up besides him, Ben waited to see if the lady would take his offer.

"Don't know, just have to see I guess." She mused with a chuckle, swirling an ice cube around in an empty shot glass, a smirk on her face as she finally set it down, grabbing the piece of paper before sliding out of the chair, numerous eyes landing on her as she walked out, finding her horse from earlier, untying his reins before finding a fence, climbing on before mounting. Rowan walked the draft along the road, a steady pace, the map still tucked in her pocket, hidden and secure. Her one source home, the one thing she couldn't lose. If so, may as well be better off dead. The woman followed the directions, tying her horse before walking towards the door, knocking on it, her hairtie having come out of her hair, Rowan unbraiding it to have long dark brown waves as she awaited for the door to be opened.

Lance jumped off the couch barking at the door, "Shut up" Ben rolled his eyes as he stood up. He was partially undressed, no shirt and jus sweats. He had completely forgot about the offer he made after so many beers it's hard to remember. He opened the door, he looked at her for a minute before speaking, "Who are you again?" A questioning tone set to his voice, his tall figure towering over hers. Benjamin ran his fingers through his hair, his body tattooed all over. He took another moment to process, "Oh right, lady from the bar. Come in" his memory still fuzzy, but enough to remember faces. Edited at December 26, 2025 01:55 AM by PoloStables

"Damn," She muttered under her breath, practically silent as she looked up at him. "Gave me directions to your house, I told you I was lost and you said I could come here." Rowan clarified, glancing past him into the house and seeing it spotless, figuring he lived alone.

"Yes, I remember" he slightly chuckled before closing the door behind her as she walked in. Lance growled a bit before disappearing off into Bens bedroom. "What brings you into town again? Honestly can't remember if I already asked that" he grabbed some wine, pouring it into a glass. Ben slightly leaned against the counter, watching her ever so carefully.

Rowan noticed the dog come back out, staring at her for a moment before approaching her, nuzzling her hand for pets. She listened to the man's question, chuckling lightly as she shook her head. "Can't tell you that, confidential information." The woman noted simply, Lance sitting beside her as she scratched behind his ears.

Ben glared a bit, "Hmph, okay. Well here's some wine if you want any" he stumbled a bit before sitting down on the couch. He watched her a bit, "Where would you like to sleep" a small little smirk playing acrossed his face. He looked at the ground for a moment before taking a sip of wine.
