Josef was perched on the edge of the bed, staring off into space as he realized the weight of everything when he heard the door open. The man stood, expecting it to rescue. He was glad they finally came back, ready to go back home. Though, to his dissapointment, it was just a really, really, really tall lady. "Oh." Josef muttered, standing in the doorway as he was curious to who she was. "Who are you?"

Sadie stopped in her tracks at the sight of a short guy standing near the only bed in the house. She gave him a sharp look. "What're you doing here?" She didn't bother answering his question. She just wanted to know why he was here and if he was going to let her have the room. She hadn't been planning on sleeping outside on the ground and wasn't in the mood to change plans.

(XD I started cackling at 'short guy' lmao) "I got stranded since I fell asleep and missed the boat, what're you doing here?" He asked, matching her temper as he stood in the middle of the doorway.

(lol I laughed at 'really really tall lady' XD) . Sadie was confused, but didn't show it. "I got stuck here too." She didn't bother telling him why she'd gotten stranded, it was none of his business. She looked around at the tiny building then looked back at the man. "So who gets the house?"

Josef was appaled by her question, the answer being obvious. "Who do you think?" He asked, answering himself. "Me. I got here first, snooze you lose." The man mused, not going to give it up for some random giant who had burst through the door just moments ago.

('some random giant' LOL) . Sadie crossed her arms. "Sounds like you were the one doing the snoozing. Whatever happened to 'ladies first?'" She didn't care if he got here before she did. It was just plain rude to make her sleep outside just because he had found the house first.

"I--what? You're calling me the snoozer when I got here first." He noted, huffing a laugh. Though at her next comment, he was even more surprised. "Lady listen, i'm just trying to survive this and get back home without perishing. I really do not care who you are."

Sadie rolled her eyes. "Uh, yeah. You just said you had been sleeping and that's why you missed the ship. I call that a snoozer." At his next comment she huffed and threw another comment back at him. "Yeah, I don't care who you are either. Just move." She tried to push past him through the door. He looked fairly strong, but so was she, plus he was tiny. She was pretty sure she could beat him in a hands-on fight if she needed to. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

|
"Uh no?" He stated, not really a question as he stood still as he was. Though Josef was short, he was a good fighter, having gotten into many whether it was recently or a few years back. The man could probably beat her in a fist fight, though he hoped it wouldn't come to that.

After a few tense moments of a staring contest, Sadie huffed. She shot him a glare and turned on her heel, going back outside. Okay. So the house was out. Where else could she stay? She looked around the island. There was nothing except sand, trees, a few rocks, and ground cover. "Fine," she muttered to herself, "I'll just sleep in the woods. Hopefully there aren't any jaguars in there."
