(Okay now I'm starting lol) Early in the morning a nice 2013 ish blue chevy pulled down the drive hauling a two slot horse trailer. Inside the horse trailer sat a angry bay mare who was biting the windows bars. When the truck pulled intot he parking area Cash idled it to a stop before stepping out. He had obviously been in the truck for a long time from his tired eyes and the 13 energy drinks scattered throughout his vehicle. There was a loud snort from the trailer as Mooney reared,"easy there girl" Chash called out jogging to the side load so he could pull her out. The ramp came down with a thud. Reaching for the rope he pulled the big mare out of the trailer and she gladly jumped over the ramp instead of walking down it. "Whoaah! Let's not pull any big moves on the wet grass" he laughed nervously. Mooney shook her head and pranced a circle before the lead chank snapped against her lower jaw "now quit thay out" cash told her holding the leading one hand as he pulled the wagon of her feed and supplements out of the trailer. He parked it next to the truck put the ramp up and walked into the barn. Instantly met with a warm smile, IT was the owner Nathaniel. "Hey cash! Glad the ride didn't do a toll of her, sassy as always " Nathaniel laughed and showed cash to Mooney stall and all the horses that were assigned to him "okay Vermont Rosie and Victor" cash told himself as he walked back to Mooney stall Edited at March 23, 2025 09:53 AM by ghost light stables

(Yippee! Sorry this is so long lol I was on a roll XD) - The six-hour drive had been hard on Jordan, but only because she was nervous about working at the farm, though she would never admit it to anyone. She never had trouble driving and wasn't nervous very much, so this was new territory for her. But when she pulled through the gate into Starlight Farms in her dark turqouise truck, she put on her straightest face and took a deep breath. It'll be fine once we're both settled in. As if in response, the two-horse trailer behind her rattled as the horse inside kicked out at the wall. Jordan rolled her eyes to herself and pulled up in front of the barn. She parked the truck and hopped out of the drivers seat, snagging her purse on the way out. She wiped her hands on her jeans and started towards the back of the trailer. The horse inside kicked again, and let out a loud neigh. Jordan unlocked the door and put the ramp down, stepping inside the trailer. A buckskin horse looked at her with angry eyes. Calmly, Jordan untied the lead rope and asked Jax to back out of the trailer. Jax took hesitant steps until he was nearly at the edge of the trailer. Jordan said, "Step. Step." until all of Jax's hooves were on solid ground. Jordan patted his neck and handed him a treat from her pocket, then led him into the barn. A tall man with a smile on his face greeted her. "Hello! You must be Jordan! Welcome to Starlight Farms!" Jordan nodded curtly and listened as he told her where Jax's stall was, where to put his tack, and which cabin was hers. Jordan nodded to everything and said, "Thank you, sir," before finding stall number 7 and leading Jax inside.

(Dude this rp is gonna be good) Cash uncliped Mooneys halter and hung it on the door. He reached kver and grabbed a flake of hay tossing it into her stall "there ya go stunner girl" he ran his hands through his hair to get the hay out of it. Hearing hooof beats behind him he turned a warm smile on his face "hi there! I'm Cash nice to meet ya" he held outhishand to Jordan still smiling. There was the slightest hint of a southern accent in his voice. He looked over with a laugh as Mooney pinned her ears at Jax and hid in her stall "that's Mooney, don't mind her she's a bit moody" he shook his head with another laugh

(Yesss I sure hope so!) Jordan looked up when a guy about her own age introduced himself with a disgustingly kind smile on his face. Jordan stared at him for a minute, then turned and slipped off Jax's halter before rolling the stall door shut in Cash's face. Jordan proceeded to check the stall over for anything dangerous. It appeared to be in perfect condition, with the rubber mats aligned nicely and the wooden walls polished and disinfected. She checked the water bucket and the hay net, then examined the rolling wooden door and bars on the top half. Everything was tidy, clean, and safe. Satisfied, Jordan left the stall and returned to her trailer, grabbing Jax's tack trunk and rolling it back to his stall. She then returned to the trailer and began grabbing all her saddles, saddle pads, bridles, blankets, bell boots, and more and arranging it all in the tack room. There was enough room to fit everything of hers and more. Jordan was impressed at how funcional the farm was.

Cash chuckled awkwardly at the reaction he got from her "okay then." He brushed it off quickly and went to tethis tack out of the trailer. Both a western and an engilsh saddle hung on the racks with a variety of bridle combos on the hooks. Reaching up he pulled both saddles off and placed them on his hip so he could grab the bridles. Smirk on his face he walked into the barn and put his tack in the assigned spot. Walking out of the room.he reached out to his mare "owner told us to settle in for the day, you want to find the jumps" as if on cue the mare stopped chewing her hay and looked at him ears pricked. She stomped the ground and reached through the window in the door "okay okay!" He laughed before putting a bit less bridle on her and taking off her sheet. Mooney followed hi out of the barn where he not so gracefully had to take a few steps towards her at a run to swing on Bareback. The mare swished her tail at him as he settled himself and went to find the cross country set up Nathaniel had mentioned.

Jordan saw Cash on Mooney, bareback, heading for the cross country courses, but all she thought was, Sure. Go ahead and do that. I prefer working alone. And it was true. Jordan finished moving Jax's tack and supplements and got back in the truck and drove the trailer around the the parking spots Nathaniel had mentioned. She unhitched the trailer and parked the truck next to it, then began unloading her own baggage and piling it into a wagon which she rolled towards the cabins. Once she found the cabin Nathaniel had said was hers, cabin number 3, Jordan pulled out the keys he had given her and unlocked the front door. The interior was cozy and filled with flowers, books, and carpets. Jordan slightly disapproved of this much comfort in a home but figured she would get used to it. She found the master bedroom and heaved her bags onto the bed, which had a light pink comforter and sheets. Jordan gagged and immediately changed the covers to a much more sophisticated blue, which she found in the small closet next to the bathroom. After she had brought the rest of her luggage inside, Jordan headed back to the barn to check on Jax and meet the horses she was assigned to take care of, Flower, Cap, and Debbie.

(Jordan is so real for changing the pink) Cash let Mooney explore for a bit before taking her over a bush jump trotting g a circle and heading back to the barn. He brushed her down and popedher in her stall with a scoop of mineral In her bunk. " okay let's see" he walked down the ice stopping at the stall labeled Rosie he lifted his hand out for her to sniff before slipping the halter over her head "come on pretty girl" he tied her to her stall and started to look over her coat condition and her confirmation. "She stands like a stock horse I like that" he muttered thinking outloud

(right? XD) Jordan peeked into Jax's stall and saw that he was happily eating the alfalfa she had given him. Satisfied that he was settling in well, Jordan walked down the aisle until she saw the sign on a stall that read, "Debbie". Inside was a beautiful chestnut horse with blue eyes and a luxurious mane and tail. The mare was standing with her back to the stall door, apparently sleeping. Jordan looked her over and saw nothing wrong with her conformation. She was a healthy, beautiful horse. Remembering what Nathaniel had said about Debbie being a little bit crazy, Jordan continued down the aisle, planning to come back and see just how crazy Debbie was later. A few stalls down was a light bay gelding with a stripe and a sock. He pricked his ears at Jordan and let out a nicker as she approached. Jordan rubbed the stripe on his forehead and slid open the stall door, grabbing the halter and lead rope that was hanging on the hook next to the stall. She slid the halter over his head and led him to the cross ties, looking him over. He was a standard Morab with a short back and graceful neck. His legs were powerful and well-cared for. Jordan unclipped him from the cross ties and led him towards the round pen.
