Raven's eyes narrowed on the taller shifter, her body shifting away from him at first with a look of discontent. Of all places to go, there just had to be another shifter there. "As if I'm any happier than you.." she grumbled lowly, eyeing him as he moved away from the door. Raven got out of the car, immediately backing away from the man. She glanced around the area, seeming to debate for a moment on if she wanted to try to run and hide. She didn't move, though, her gaze merely returning to the other shifter.

Harlow scoffed at the other's words and moved further away once she got out. With observing eyes and a frown he watched the woman before crossing his arms and turning away from her once her attention started shifting back to him, now watching the owner move back inside. Once the owner was out of sight, with one swift and sudden movement he spun back around and stared harshly at the woman. "Who the hell are you?" He asked quietly, his voice intense, yet calm.

Raven tugged at the sleeves of her sweater, her nerves having shot through the roof since stepping foot out of that car. His sudden movement made her flinch, a low, animalistic growl slipping quietly from her throat as she backed another step away from him. Her chest rose and fell quickly, her gaze on him hardening as she started to answer his question. "Raven. Our owner just picked me up from the auction. And you are?" She asked, her tone hesitant but no less collected.

Harlow frowned when Raven said 'our owner'. Just the thought of sharing his owner with her nearly infuriated him, but, he'd rather keep his anger hidden for now. "Harlow." He said bluntly before shuffling back a few steps. "Oh, uhm, nice name?" He attempted to compliment, but failed immediately. His voice was a higher pitch than usual, trying to be nicer and less intimidating than what he has been. "Well anywho, you reek and are in need of a shower and clean clothes, and while you're hogging the hot water I'm going to complain to my owner that you're very annoying.." He suddenly said, shrugging his shoulders, although his face was plastered with a fake smile that was noticeable. He stared at Raven for a few more seconds before turning around and walked to the front door of the house.

A smirk twitched at the corners of Raven's lips when she saw him frown after mentioning something about their owner. Someone seemed possessive. She nearly snorted at the higher pitch, her arms crossing over her chest. "Right back at you," she returned, still eyeing him with calculated caution despite the miserable attempt to be nice. She rolled her eyes when he told her she stunk and needed a shower, but she didn't say anything smart since she knew it was true. The bastards who'd captured her didn't even let her get clean after their tussle. She still had dirt and dried blood coating portions of her skin, and her hair was in the most horrendous state it had ever been in. "Please do. I have no wish to be here.. Also. That smile isn't very becoming of you," she told him in a rather calm voice as she began to follow him towards the door.

When he opened the door he turned around to see Raven following, he simply shook his head out of irritation but left the door open for her. Taking off his boots he patted his clothes down free of some imaginary ash or dust, then he stretched and walked down a hallway and disappeared into a room.

Raven frowned, following in suit of taking her shoes off. A moment later, some stranger came and swept her away, ushering her off to the bathroom. Once she was alone, there were fresh clothes set out for her and a bag for her old clothes, which were without a doubt headed for the trash. She turned the water on to a nice, hot temperature before undressing while it warmed up. She shoved her clothes into the bag before stepping into the water, groaning softly in delight as all the grime and filth began to wash away.

After a few minutes of losing a argument with his owner he left the room. He groaned loudly before storming off through the halls, cursing and mumbling under his breath. "God damn it!" He she said to himself, grabbing a pillow and squeezed it tightly before ripping it apart. He stared at the mess he made for a moment, the fabric and fluff of the pillow all over the floor. He let out a sigh and began picking everything up.

Raven eventually came out of the bathroom feeling much cleaner and better about herself. She'd even dried her hair, the strands now soft and silky instead of matted and dirty. Not even sure what she was to do with herself, Raven started to wander around, taking in each area she was in carefully. She needed to know possible escape routes and cameras if there were any. She could smell that Harlow was somewhere close, but she wasn't exactly sure where.

Harlow huffed when he grabbed the broom and dustpan, then he moved back to the mess he made. Turning around a corner rather quickly he nearly ran into Raven. "Jesus! Ever learn how to move out the way?" He scoffed before storming past her, mumbling some colorful language quietly.
