-Night Walker Pack- -Nyx- Nyx growls at Eros, as he touches her. Standing at her annoyance, she looks out to spot Ravenna leaving to find herbs. She nods as she bows low before leaving. Nyx, looks back at Eros and snarls. She then turns back into the clearing before parking herself right outside the den. She sits on her haunches before cleaning herself. -Ravenna- After Ravenna had counted herbs, she made a mental note. She was going to need a lot. She heading out into the sunshine and watched Nyx's blue eyes appear watching her. She dips her head low at the alpha and heads out into the forest in such of herbs. -Fenrir- After glaring at Koda, he snaps his attention back to the clearing. He hears movement and follows. He moves through the trees and sees a flash of movement before squaring with Starlette and a rabbit in her mouth. "Nice catch" He says teasingly. -Koda- Koda's ears prick at the sametime as Fenrir. He glares back and glares into the back of his head when he walks away. Soonish, he decides to follow Fenrir, spotting Starlette. He stands behind Fenrir and sneers "Are you joking? You think that rabbit is going to feed everyone?" -Astral Pack- -Odin- Odin opens his eyes and intently watches Axelia move. He yawns and copies her movements, taking in the rest of the pack. He spots his daughter's lumiounous fur from the opposite side of the clearing. -Luna- Luna spots Axelia having just woken and then her father's amber eyes just behind her. She turns to Kaelen and then to Kira and jumps up and pummels her pawels into Kira. "Come on, we should probably go and play!" She says in a high pitch gleeful voice. -Kira- Kira grumbles, yawning. "I think we should be hunting instead, don't you?" She rolls over and sits up. She tries to gracefully paw at her ear before shaking away her slumber. -Kaelen- Kaelen follows Luna's gaze and then nods in agreement with Kira. "I'll follow but then take the border. Someone should probably do a patrol". Kira nods slowly and then says "Maybe we should invite Galene to see if there are any herbs for winter near the borders and offer her some protection. She could always do with the extra paws at this time of year." Luna lets out a whine "I just want to go play". Kira snaps "later", Luna's ears flatten and she looks at her paws. |

Axelia Axelia exited the den, scanning her pack. She then turned to Odin. "Odin, can you assign patrols for the morning please?" she asks him, before moving past him to the lake to take a sip of water to wet her dry throat. Starlette Starlette hears footsteps behind her, her ears alert. She quickly pivots her paws, turning to see two wolves. Wolves from Night Walker Pack. "Ya?" she rolls her eyes. "This isn't my first catch of the morning. Maybe you two should wake up earlier huh?" she snarls back, "And it's mine. Don't you dare try and take it from me" she replies back. Galene Galene made mental note of the ginger and rosemary that was short on supply. She would have to go out and collect them soon, since when winter came they wouldn't be available anymore. Oakley Oakley was undisturbed, deep in slumber. She likely was sleeping past the time she should. Brixton Brixton sighed as Eros nudged him. "Fine, let's go hunting" he said knowing he had no choice but to follow Eros hunting as the Beta never seemed to understand no as an answer. Syon Syon is sleeping. Feel free to wake him up Eros Eros woke up with a yawn, stretching and rolling onto his feet. He spotted Brixton who had just finished his shift of night watch and walked over. "Hey dude, wanna hunt with me?" he asks. Roscoe Roscoe padded through the forest, the wind blowing a leaf into his face. He sneezed, shaking his head and continuing on his walk. |

-Night Walker Pack- -Nyx- Nyx growls at Eros as he shoves past with Brixton. "Not so fast, you two" she says sly. "Wake Oakley and take the border patrol this morning". I've had enough of you males this morning already, she thought, her blue eyes flash at them. "If you see an elk, be sure to report it to me." -Ravenna- Ravenna approached a ridgeline towards the middle of the forest. Her joints complaining but she approached her favourite spot where comfrey grows. It sure was running low at this time of year. Perhaps she could find something else for the winter joint compliants in her search. -Fenrir- Fenrir huffs a laugh. Females, he thought. "I thought you were on patrol, why not leave the hunting to us big strong males?" He approaches, flicking his tail teasingly, his amber ears blaring. -Koda- Koda huffs, stares at her and then turns his attention to Fenrir. He rolls his eyes at his flirtaious attempts. He dares say anything for he will face Fenrir's jealous wrath. -Astral Pack- -Odin- Odin looks at Axelia as she spoke. "Yes, of course." He stands to move and heads towards Luna, Kira, Kaelen and Syon. "Good morning" his voice low and gruff. He looks at Luna, her blue eyes with admiration shinning in them. "Please....", Kira interrupts. "Good morning, patrols?" she says keenly. "Yes, ummm." "No problem, Kaelen was going to follow us out to hunt but then we thought we'd take Galene to see if she needs help with winter stocks by replinshing them at the border." Kaelen huffs and mutters "That was my idea." "Ok, very well. Taken Syon with you and maybe split to cover the territory in twice as much time. We have a lot of area to cover today" Odin stands proudly, glancing at the three of them before turning away back to Axelia. -Luna- Luna watches her father wander over and join the three of them. She flicks her tail back and forth listening intently to the commands they'd be given. She looks at Kira, who has now wandered over to her father's den to wake him. -Kira- Kira sighs and growls, as Odin moves away. She wanders over to her father's den to find him fast asleep. "Syon. Syon. SYON! WAKE UP". She growls lowly, before turning away once she made sure he was awake. "Kaelen, take my father with you and Galene to make sure she gets what she needs. Whichever way you decide to patrol, we will head in the opposite direction to hunt." She flicks her tail. -Kaelen- Kaelen watches Odin, admiring him and his stoic presence. He glances at Axelia taking in her beauty. Kaelen switches his attention, as Kira growls at her father. He nods in confirmation at her instructions and wanders over to paw at Syon's side to get him up. "Come on, we need to go find Galene before she leaves." |

Axelia Axelia took another sip of the water before lifting her head up once more. Odin had already watching. Axelia gave him a nod of approval at the choice of the patrollers. "Nice job" she commented. She was glad she had such a reliable beta. Starlette Starlette raises an eyebrow. "Are you saying that I'm not capable of hunting by myself? That I need to be babysat like a pup?" she growls. She was directing the last part at Koda, a jab at him as well. "I would rather not hunt with you. You're the enemy anyways. And I am not inviting you two to hunt with me. You can hunt elsewhere" she adds, turning and stalking away from them. She hoped they wouldn't follow her, but she was unsure if her words would be listened to. Galene Galene was just about to leave to collect herbs when a group of her packmantes approached. As she was asked if she'd like to join them she nodded. "Oh, that would be great actually! Yes I'll come with you all" she agrees. Oakley Woke to Eros and Brixton standing over her. "Okay, okay! I'm up" she groans stumbling to her paws. Brixton Brixton poked Oakley, "wake up Oakley" rousing her up. "We are on hunting patrol duty. Nyx said for us to take you as well" he explains. Syon Syon was startled away by a loud voice. He woke to his daughter screaming his name. “Kira stop shouting. Okay okay. I’m up” he says yawning and getting to his paws. He nods to Kaelan in greeting before going over to stop Galene before she left. Eros Eros smirks at Nyx. “You want to come with as well? It’ll be fun” she says winking at her. Roscoe Roscoe padded through the forest, the wind blowing a leaf into his face. He sneezed, shaking his head and continuing on his walk. |

(Starlette is in the same pack as Fenrir and Koda btw :D) -Night Walker Pack- -Nyx- Nyx glared at Eros. She thought better of the idea that he suggested. She usually only did night time activites if anything. Last night was different though. She wanted to make sure her pack were competent enough to face challenges in the dark and that included border patrols. She rolled her eyes at Eros, as she remembered how he was supposed to be on patrol last night. So sending him now, would be her idea of a punishment. She stopped cleaning herself and waited until they left. -Ravenna- Ravenna approached and huffed as she scaled the ridgeline. Suddenly out of breath when she reached the bottom. She walked up to the comfrey and consumed some, before deciding it was best to leave the rest to grow, thicker and fuller in the spring. She walks towards other various herbs and using her snout to sniff out the ones she was running low on. -Fenrir- Fenrir huffs another laugh. "We are not your enemy" he flicked his tail in annoyance. He turns to leave. "Go back to your patrol post" he bites out. -Koda- Koda glares at Starlette, his hackles raising. Its not the first time he would deal with a prickly female. He loved to start fights. He bares his teeth at her and females would be no exception. -Astral Pack- -Odin- Odin smiled at her, glad that she approved. He approached her and wanted nothing but to bury his face into her neck and nuzzle her. He restrained himself and went to drink alongside her. -Luna- Luna looks at Kira and copies her. -Kira- Kira looks again at her father and Kaelen. Satisified that they were doing their jobs, she sat waiting to find out which way they would start to go, before going in the opposite direction. -Kaelen- Kaelen follows Syon over to Galene. "Which way shall we go, based on what you need?" He asks her. His blues eyes shinning. |

Axelia Axelia lay down by the lake. She sighed, lost in thought. "Odin" she spoke out after a few seconds. "Do you think I'm a good Alpha?" she asks. Sometimes she felt like she wasn't being the Alpha the pack deserved. Starlette Starlette huffs, rolling her eyes at his command. She waited for Fenrir and Koda to leave before running off again, once again not listening to his command. If he wanted her to listen, he would have to earn that respect. She did not do what others wanted just for the sake of it. She wandered further away. Galene Galene looks around. "We could go to the mushroom forest, there should be some rosemary over there near the roots of the trees" she suggested. Oakley Oakley followed Eros and Brixton out, bouncing on her paw pads a bit. Brixton Brixton stopped by to talk to Nyx before leaving. "On my watch I heard what seemed to be human voices, they were faint so unlikely to be close, but I just wanted to inform you" he said dipping his head before following Eros and Oakley. Syon Syon stayed silent, following Kaelan and Galene as Galene mentioend the mushroom forest. He didn't particularly enjoy the place becuase something about mushrooms put him off. Eros Eros trotted along ahead, taking the leading role in the patrol as the beta, though Brixton didn't seem too happy about following his friend. Roscoe Roscoe padded through the forest, the wind blowing a leaf into his face. He sneezed, shaking his head and continuing on his walk. |

-Night Walker Pack- -Nyx- Nyx narrows her eyes at Brixton. Humans. She crinkles her muzzle. She calls out to Brixton. "Where?" she asked darkly. -Ravenna- Ravenna moved further into the forest and picked up some more herbs before gruffly making her way back to the camp. She would need to dry these before the sun set in these short days. -Fenrir- Fenrir rolls his eyes in annoyance. He would probably need to report this behaviour to Nyx. She wouldn't be happy. He sighs inwardly, not letting on to Koda. He turns to Koda and growls at him, his amber eyes blazing. "If you dare mention a word of this to your mother, I will kill you myself" He snarls. -Koda- Koda watches Starlette wander off and then turns his attention to Fenrir's annoyance. "Hey, don't blame me that you scared away the female" he teases quietly. Fenrir snaps a warning bite dangerously close to his face. "Okay, okay, I won't" he huffs, sulking after the second reprimand today. "Can we just go kill something pleaseee?" He whines annoyingly. Fenrir sighs and follows Koda, as he lets him lead but not before looking longily back at the way Starlette went. -Astral Pack- -Odin- Odin watched Axelia as his brows knitted into confusion. He steps closer, this time daring to push the top of his head into her neck and whispers "Of course you are. You're kind, caring, compassionate. You always put the pack first" He pulls back and looks at her with shinning amber eyes. "What makes you think that?" He puzzles. -Luna- Luna looks to Kira. Her ears pricked and tail alert as they move off into the undergrowth. -Kira- Kira watches the three wolves leave and nods to Luna to follow her. She leads Luna away in the opposite direction. They stay quiet for a short while until they reach a ridge, where a small stream flows. Luna's eyes shoot open wide and she grins, running ahead and splashing and playing in the stream. Kira stands back, taking in her surroundings. -Kaelen- Kaelen nods and lets Galene lead the way. He keeps alert, with one ear on Syon and the other pointed outwardly towards the forest for trespassers. |

(Oakley, Brixton and Eros are part of the night walker pack, lol. I think it helps to seperate them out when replying so we know which characters belong to which pack/or I have the front page open so I can keep track of who is who and their personalities and colours and stuff. Just. a suggestion :D) -Night Walker Pack- -Nyx- Nyx nods at Brixton. She spots Starlette having returned and ignores her after smelling the blood of prey on her fur. She walks over to the tree and lays underneath it with her. She watches as Ravenna returns with herbs in her maw. -Ravenna- Ravenna limps across camp. Her body can just about cope with the tenacious walks in the forest looking for herbs, if she can find a supplement for her joints whilst she is out there. She crosses to her den and prepares her day's worth of findings for storage. -Fenrir- Fenrir smells the air. Elk. Nyx will be most pleased, he thought. He flicks his ear towards Koda to signal for him to stay quiet. He stalks low through the undergrowth and sure enough there was a herd migrating for the winter months. -Koda- Koda watches Fenrir and spots his signal. He crouches low, fattening his ears, and picking his tail up, folding his body to make it as streamline as possible before the kill. Just as Fenrir had taught him. -Astral Pack- -Odin- Odin cocks his head in further confusion. "Your pack is safe, they're happy. What more could you want?" He asks. -Luna- Luna jumps out of the stream and shakes her white fur. Her blue eyes sparkling. She notices Kira listening and she sniffs the air. -Kira- Kira flicks her ears listening for movement in the undergrowth. She closes her eyes and breathes in taking in the smallest and largest of sounds of animals moving. A short distance away she could hear the birds singing, while 3 miles away a small herd of deer. -Kaelen- Kaelen looks around and then at Galene, who is studying something but he really doesn't know what. He keeps alert, smelling the air. He side glances Syon. "Keep watch would you?" He says before turning to Galene. His blue eyes sparkle at her. "Can I help you?" He offers the female. |

ASTRAL Axelia Axelia nods, "I just am just afraid of the future I guess" she admits, sighing. Galene Galene nods, "sure. It would go by quicker" she agrees. She then looks aroudn the tree roots, spotting some rosemary. "They look like this. Thin dark green leaves with a waxy surface" she describes as she shows Kaelen. Syon Syon nods when Kaelen asked him to keep watch. He stood guard while the other two collected herbs.
NIGHT WALKERS
Starlette Starlette had managed to catch three more pieces of prey: another rabbit, a fox, and a squirrel. She then headed back towards the pack base, dropping the food and burying them for others to have if they wanted later. She then sat under the tree and curled her tail over her paws. Oakley Oakley sniffed the air, trying to find the scent of prey as well. Brixton Brixton kept his head low to the ground, sniffing and letting his ears swivel as he tried to detect scents. Eros Eros did the same as Brixton LONERS Roscoe Roscoe padded through the forest, the wind blowing a leaf into his face. He sneezed, shaking his head and continuing on his walk. |
